2022 Job 2 with 6.13. Still running BC1.0. Tried it yesterday on my way to the dealer for HVBJB recall and can confirm still drives like shit and pretty much unusable near Chicago. As noted before though, BC performance is highly dependent on where you live.I don't have PowerUp 7.0 / BC 1.4 yet, but I have received 6.13 so I'm probably pretty close (1 major update and perhaps 1-2 minor unnumbered updates to go, I think).
I drove quite a bit today, and the radar cruise control and BC hands-free both seemed a little smoother. It got me thinking, even though I don't officially have BC 1.4 yet, could some of the modules updated via 6.x patches result in better BC performance?
I'm curious if others who have 6.13 have noticed any improvements to radar cruise control and BlueCruise.
Here's a post on FB of someone who received it has a '23 and not an EA member:Someone on here reported getting an update yesterday.
Ah yes, FB, the font of all that is true and authoritative. Here's a post on FB of someone who received it has a '23 and not an EA member:

Are Job 1 cars stopping at 6.8 and not getting 6.13?I've only got updates through 6.8.0 and since I have a 2021 i'm probably not going to get 6.13.0, but that being said I've not noticed any notable changes. I believe that's because those updates don't included the IPMA and CCM module which would be the main modules affecting what I'd perceive for lane following and centering. I'd be interested in what others think though.
From what I’ve seen here, it appears they don’t require 6.13. They should continue on to 7.0 when it’s released to their car.Are Job 1 cars stopping at 6.8 and not getting 6.13?
Yeah, that's what I heard also. @ChasingCoral can elaborate. From what I’ve seen here, it appears they don’t require 6.13. They should continue on to 7.0 when it’s released to their car.
That’s very surprising. Here's a post on FB of someone who received it has a '23 and not an EA member:

I’ll confirm but can’t elaborate just yet.Yeah, that's what I heard also. @ChasingCoral can elaborate.
Edit: @rugedraw pulled the PTS info from someone who got 7.0.0. It and 6.13.0 both have the CMR module.

The placebo effect is real, so maybe I was just imagining things.2022 Job 2 with 6.13. Still running BC1.0. I was surprised that someone got 7.0 yesterday, since Ford corporate basically shuts down the last week of the year.
Could be Ford wants to be able to claim that (at least some) regular cars got BC 1.4 before the end of 2023? ?Here's a post on FB of someone who received it has a '23 and not an EA member:
It never occurred to me to compare the files in 6.13.0 to the ones in 7.0.0 to see if there were any differences, but the Mach E that I checked that got 7.0.0 did not get 6.13.0.Yeah, that's what I heard also. @ChasingCoral can elaborate.

I have, and excessive permutations of what's in the field is what causes the most issues. If I were Ford, I'd be concentrating on getting everyone in sync before moving the goal posts. Get the entire fleet on the same version, then concentrate on the deployment process. They need to get to a point where once they decide a new release is ready, it rolls out over a couple weeks to everyone. Start with EA and give it a few weeks to ensure that group is not having issues. Then start slow (with a mix of all model years) and ramp up over a couple weeks. You’ve never worked on large, multi-platform software deployments, have you? ?
Ford doesn’t have full control over the module updates. Multiple companies other than Ford are involved. On top of that module manufacturers are a bit different in several key points between model years, particularly compared to 2021. If the Ford Goal Post Team didn’t move the posts and instead waited on having everyone in sync, our sun would be in waning stage of its Red Giant phase before we’d get a change. By then, it’d be sort of moot.If I were Ford, I'd be concentrating on getting everyone in sync before moving the goal posts.
Ford management lease vehicles are de facto EAP on their own release ring, and I’d venture not all employees even know that. Here's a post on FB of someone who received it has a '23 and not an EA member:

That’s a great idea. I wonder if anyone at Ford has thought about it? ?They need to get to a point where once they decide a new release is ready, it rolls out over a couple weeks to everyone.
