It's a cheaper Lyriq. If it handles/drives like the Lyriq it is more of a comfortable cruiser which would explain why Doug dislikes it compared to the EV6 GT lol

Anyhow, like many others, I have a Blazer EV reservation and declined my allocation because they would not build it with SuperCruise. From a friend and former MME owner - he prefers SuperCruise over BlueCruise.

I had to call the reservation hotline to complain when they wouldn't refund mine. I let them know they had a week and then it would be a chargeback. It took multiple calls and about an additional week, but I did finally see my refund. The dealers hold the money, and really don't want to give it back. They lied twice to the reservation rep to tell them they refunded the deposit, but didn't. I also refunded all my other deposits at the same time, through the same rep. They asked why, and I told them I had zero trust in anything the dealers would do after the deposit issue and will never buy these cars.
Which is weird because I was able to cancel my Hummer EV and Silverado EV orders and I checked that I can cancel the Blazer EV order in the same way. You need the reservation order + e-mail then a passcode.

Right, but the dealer has to process the actual refund from their actual accounts. You initiate the request from the page you show, but the dealer has to refund the amount themselves with what seems to be a manual process. My dealer chose to ignore the requests completely, even after follow up phone calls. They continued to avoid the payout even after reservations got involved.

This wasn't my first reservation cancellation. I had an id.4 reserved until the initial reviews started to come out. I changed my mind about that car and requested a refund. For VW, it was quick, painless, and the money was returned promptly.

That wasn't true in my case. My credit card was refunded $100 (twice). It seemed to be automatic in my case. I did visit the dealer a few weeks later to look at the demo Blazer EV model but the GM was using it at the time and was using it as a personal vehicle for the month lol.

This was what the EV Concierge told me when I called to complain after not receiving a refund. The online reservation system cancels the paperwork/order side of the reservation and then sends the refund request on to the assigned dealer. The fact that it is a manual process for the dealer likely explains the double-refund you received as well.

Agreed, I know I read it on here some time ago I think from an interview with one of the MachE product managers where they said the interest didn't seem to be there for front ventilated seats for the MME, and I don't know how that could be the case, or how lower energy methods of keeping occupants comfortable aren't just automatic additions.
Apparently the Mustang Mach e product managers don’t talk to the Mustang coupe product managers then. Almost all of the Mustang coupe trim levels feature front ventilated seats.

I received a double refund because I had two separation reservations (Hummer and Silverado) and checked my credit card history and both -$100 refunds were from General Motors and not the dealer.

I probably will cancel my Blazer reservation but I like my Chevy dealer (always charged MSRP on everything even during the craziness and even on high demand cars) so I will see if there are incentives and SuperCruise in the future.

You must have better Chevy dealers in your area. After the refund issues I gave Chevy one more try. I went to buy a Bolt at the end of the month at a different, slightly less well-rated dealer. They tacked on lots of "mandatory" extras like a flashing middle taillight for $800. Then, while running my credit they began treating me like a subprime borrower and told me that it was mandatory that I put down 40%+ in trade and $ down, because "things are different now". I had bought my MME a month prior on 800+ credit, with nothing but a trade down, so I knew they were full of it. I demanded my keys back, which they initially refused to provide. They only gave them back when I started to call the police.

Odd, Just like the Mach-E lol And they should have seen no one was pissed about that. /s
I may be wrong, but from DeMuro's review, it sounds like the initial batch of cars doesn't even have the hardware to run SuperCruise. For example, it doesn't have the LED's in the steering wheel like the other GM cars with SC.

What am I missing? I don’t see any charge port door in the picture?
Watch some reviews on YouTube. The door is motorized and hinges downward, so it get's out of the way.

The Blazer less an less excites me. I have a reservation for an SS, but the dealership knowing close to nothing, and not calling me back after me reaching out to get some clarification on my reservation, the delays, and the reported clearly reliablity issues made me just basically say “I have a reservation, I don’t think I will exercise it”. Will I look for my deposit back? Sure, but I won’t spend much time at it. I don’t want to have to deal with another dealership for the next half decade. The best are okay, the worsts make you feel like never buying a car again.

3 out of 10 on acceleration is not stellar for the chevy. Do you need to push it to get it going?

Have not looked at too many reviews at this point. Have our first EV already so we can wait for the bumps to settle down. Love the new drive tech and will not be looking back. What we have now is working for us for a bit. $3.00/100 km and not too slow ?. We get an acceleration rating of 6 over all the ICE ;). Plenty of passing pep on our premium.
