Update 6.13.0 caused Driver Monitor Camera Fault

Can’t use Blue Cruise since update 6.13.0 which is Driver Facing Camera SW Improvement. This update just happened for me. The update took out my Driver Facing Camera with a fault warning and asked to refer to my manual. There is nothing in the manual to fix this issue I can find. Do you guys have any idea what I can do other than go to the dealer? Really sucks it doesn’t work and I have a trip planned for Monday.

From browsing the forums, it’s seems you’ll need to take it to the dealer. Letting the car fully power off / disconnect 12v anecdotally will get it to work for a period, but it may come back. Test that first. If you’ve done that, contact the dealer. They either have to clear codes and retun the update, or replace the module. You’ll need someone to pull the codes to see what’s faulting.

I’ve not had this happen, just repeating what I found searching the forum. ☘

I have the same error. I have an appointment with the dealer to get it fix…..hopefully. Curious if this has only happened to those with BC 1.1?

Same issue! Called my dealership, since online electric vehicle scheduling is not permitted… said they have to call me back when an electric vehicle service adviser is available. No call back yet. 2023 Mach E CA Route One Job 1. Hope my issue is as simple as a 2 hour fix as mentioned above.

Just recognized exact same issue here. Watching this thread, sounds like I need to call the dealer. Frustrating just to lose the capability of course, but it's bizarre that there is no clear error I have received that "BlueCruise Not Available" or such -- in our car the only error I can get is if you toggle the lane centering on and off it will finally give the "Driver Facing Camera Error" warning.

That's why it took awhile before I realized BlueCruise was gone since I don't use it more than a few times a week for commuting.

I wonder if this was just caught by the update and that the cameras had an actual issue before, that possibly caused it to kick out of HF often. Mine kicks out no less than 6 times on the way home for some reason or another. I even had lane keep not bother to keep the left line in the HOV lane. No warning, no bells, just happy green ( ) after it’d kicked out of BC by canceling.

I’m having the same issue on my 2023 Premium RWD which already had the new BlueCruise installed

Extremely doubtful as Ford didn't deliver BC 1.1 to any customers. Do you mean BC 1.2 or BC 1.3?

Mine went through a couple days of intermittent driver monitor camera faults. Not sure if it was update related, but like most glitches, it resolved on its own.

Here’s my update so far. I was told by the Ford macheforum representative to call a dealer and schedule service. So I called to schedule service for my mache and got transfer to a manager. I had to leave a message. Never received a call back. So I decided to go into another larger dealership hoping to see if they could just service it that day. I know it’s wishful thinking but had to try. They were too busy, so I scheduled for another day. They are a week out minimum for service. I’ll update this thread with the status on my repair.

Called two dealers, no response from service advisors nor call back over the last three hours. Trying for third dealer now.

Meanwhile I scheduled my Tesla service in 2 minutes <facepalm>
