It’s less than a 4% range difference compared to my GTPE.But the difference is it takes a lot longer to charge than it is to top off the gas tank on a 600 hp ICE SUV. And you'll have to charge more frequently with that low range.
Considering that I’ve never DC charged in over 2 years of ownership and only been below 50% charge once (was like 45%), not really a concern for me.
So my frequency of charge would be identical.
I think the obsession with range is a bit overrated.
The EV “range people” used to drive Prius’ (not that there is anything wrong with that). This isn’t the target audience of the Macan EV.
