I love it!

Probably no one cares haha and I could totally be making this up, but this is exactly what I always wanted to mod my car to look like! I've always had plans to make my Mach-E GTPE dark green (with hint of yellow) paired with bronze (including the grill!). I had already picked a wrap that matches this eruption green pretty well and found some bronze wheels I like, and - I swear - I was even looking into bronze window vinyl films that I was going to put over the front grille.

This actually makes me pretty glad I didn't follow through with those plans - I would have been pretty disappointed to learn that that's actually for sale now and I'm driving around in a knock off lol.

Where it loses me is the grille. I love the color, and the wheels. But the grille is too much. Seems that's a popular sentiment. Considering that's a relatively small change, hopefully they can alter that before this goes on sale.

This color is very striking in person, having seen it on Bronco/Bronco Sport, it really pops in sun and has a golden undertone.

FWIW, if you like the color combo without the grille, there's an option for Painted Bronze pockets on the 2024 Premiums that can be paired with the Eruption Green

Damn, I was telling my wife I'd buy a Mach-E in green if they had it available, right before we bought a red one. Good thing Ford was already giving enough discounts on the '23 GTPE to get down to that new price of the GT with PE options added.

I'll be pretty mad if the '24 gets a performance boost that isn't available to my late '23 build.

I have plans to get my black summer rims powder coated dark bronze on my black '21 GT. This solidifies my decision. The bronze appearance package looks pretty cool with the exception of the bronze grill. I think the bronze grill is a bit too much. Overall, nice package though. Maybe it'll look better in person.

Also, very cool that magnaride and bigger brakes are now standard on GTs.

Excited to hear more about the performance upgrade option

I’m guessing that’s the same eruption green that is available on the Bronco. If it is that picture is misleading as the actual colour is much darker on the Bronco.
The pics are not great. It looks much better in their vid at the bottom of this page:

Green is my FAV color, I was very sad it was not available when I got my car. I will have to seriously think about upgrading when the model refreshes in ~2025

The 2024 is what the 2021 should have been. Glad to see Ford listening to the customer.

I'd trade my 2021 in a heartbeat if resale values didn't fall through the floor... :( especially considering green is the color that I really wanted but settled on black.

The performance upgrade is likely the new rear motor and electronics they’re putting into the Rallly. ‘21-‘23 models likely can’t use that. ??

So are they killing off the US-spec GT and renaming the GT-Performance Edition to simply “GT” to conform to the rest of the world? ?‍♂?

Those wheels look harder to clean than the current GT-PE wheels. ??

I am looking at this as an opportunity.

I have mine on the options plan. When the balloon payment comes due (2 years), I will be able to look at what the cost of the upgrade may be by not buying it when comparing to a used version of the new GT's (if they plummet the same). Win for me!
