What I hate is that we now have so many threads on the change in the IPC. Clearly people don't see any value to read. They only want to vent. If they read, or even searched, they would know how many people had already posted about this already.

Just like the 3/week new range shrinkage posts every fall!
Everyone can manage what they view and don’t view. So you have control over whether or not you read redundant posts. If you don’t like it, don’t read it.

We're one mention of resale price away from hitting the redundant thread trifecta. Welcome anyway, it's not so bad here.
Resale price.

There, I've done it. But I neither know nor care about that. Why? In the pasr forty years we have purchased eleven new cars. Of the two that we held onto for less than ten years, we had one totaled after four years and one sold after eight. Buy the right vehicle, keep it for a long time and resale value no longer matters.

I liked how my screen looked before an update ruined it for me. I was used to seeing a blue bar along the bottom of the screen with the amount of battery remaining. My speedometer showed the speed right in the center of the screen. Now I have a car in the center of my screen and my speed is pushed all the way to the right where now my steering wheel blocks it. WHY FORD!? I hate it, it's a total waste of space. Unless there is something I'm missing. In the past I could get out of that screen layout by pressing the lane assist button and turning it off, then the screen would go back, but now it's stuck this way. I really hope I missed something.

I'm the opposite. I'm 6'1 and like the seat high and wheel low so I can hold the bottom of the wheel with arms resting in my lap (when no traffic near me, of course). For me, the wheel blocks the upper corners, like the cruise control speed set.

I'd be surprised if they ever offer it, but a setting to chose from 2 or 3 driver screen layouts would be great. Like for high seating vs low seating.
That's right. I am the same height, and always drive with the steering wheel in its lowest position, for comfort. The wheel blocks much of the display on both right and left sides.

But I can see the speed just fine in the middle of the display, because I don't accept software updates. I never really cared about the display details before, but I must admit I am enjoying the old display layout and graphics just a little bit more, now that I see all the complaints about the new layout. Does that make me a bad person?

I don't see what everyone is complaining about, look at the completely unconfigurable dash layout on my FFR Cobra. The speedometer is way over in the middle of the dash, I can only see the bottom of my tachometer when I am making a right hand turn, and I can only read the oil pressure when turning left ?

Would you post a picture of your steering wheel blocking the MPH on the display from the normal driving position? Thanks.
Driving with my knees and had the camera lower than my field of view. That's why it looks totally visible from that height. I have the airbag pointing at my head (which I know some people were concerned about).

I only asked because I could not find any position, lookin straight ahead. that obscured the MPH graphic on the right side of the display. I'm 6'-1" and moving my head as low as I could and sitting normally the MPH was always visible. I had my wife do the same, she's 5'-4", and she was always able to see the MPH. I honestly can't believe that the new location of the MPH can be blocked by the steering wheel. That's why I asked.

Gotcha, I did move the steering wheel up a notch to make it mostly visible. I am still bummed about the animated graphics that show up once you switch into either driving mode.

It's actually cool to have the spped on the right side. That way I don't see how much I'm speeding cause it is covered by the wheel ;-)

In my case it's only covered when my right hand is in the 1 o'clock position. I find myself often driving that way.

I never saw the old screen. What is the latest Software update? I am on 6.13.0. Where do I see the software version on the app? When I look under vehicle >features and setting,>software updates I see the last update was done on December 19th
