It can be that warm for a short time while DC charging without much harm. The cells have to be fairly warm to accept charge at those kind of high rates. Higher temps means faster chemical reactions (charging is a chemical reaction). It should be cooled down below 40°C right afterwards however.55c is 131F! That is not a healthy temperture for the battery. A graph of soc verse temperature is needed.
Heat it up, charge it fast, and cool it back down is the secret to really fast charging.
