I saw a Porsche Taycan “turbo” yesterday and it made me realize the naming mistake Porsche made.
They should have gone with an electric theme.
KiloWatt, MegaWatt, GigaWatt ….

Ha ha. The first time I saw Turbo associated with the Taycan I thought it was weird. But Porsche has used the word “Turbo” for a long time on their top performance 911s and 930s. It’s kind of a legacy marketing thing I am sure. ??

Even in their 911 lineup, the Turbo name has become muddled since in the most recent generation, all of the 911s except the GT3s literally have a turbocharged engine.

sorry... logic is not the coin of the car naming realm.
