That‘s not new for 2024. It started with the 2023.5.$500 for the mobile charger now? Wow.

Did early '22s get hands-free lift gate? I have no park assist, no hands-free lift gate...I believe that was for park assist.
No. Mine was built Jan 19, 22 and did not have hans-free lift but I do have the hardware and could program it if I had whatever those tools are. There is a thread on it somewhere. They stopped installing the module/parts/whatever around March of 22.Did early '22s get hands-free lift gate? I have no park assist, no hands-free lift gate...
Price and incentive talks don’t translate across borders well. ?MSRP are important here in canada since they base gouv. Incentive on the MSRP.
In Québec right now I can get a Long Range Model Y for around 66-(12k gouv. incentive) =54K Canadian
While the Mach-e premium 2023 Long range AWD is 72K - (5k gouv incentive only) :67k
MSRP Need to be under 65K(before fee and delivery)for an extra 7K gouv. Incentive
Of course they are piling up at dealer..
I noticed that too for a while on ALL the ones stocked at our local dealerships. They can keep it, and I won't be turning to one that came with my 2021 when the options plan is up.$500 for the mobile charger now? Wow.
Not sure this is accurate. I just bought my wife a Red RWD Model Y with no other upgrades and the final purchase price is $47,500(ish). This was last week literally. There are a whole bunch of fees and delivery costs they add on after the fact. Not sure what Ford is thinking here. You can buy a Model Y Long Range AWD with panoramic glass roof along with paint and seat upgrades for $44,130. An Ioniq 5 is $45,775, less the glass roof.
.
Then again the Polestar 3 is $85,300 so ?![]()
It’s actually worse here. The Mach-E that matters (premium AWD ER) is 60k and qualifies for zero incentive, while the equivalent MY is 48 and qualifies for 7.5.MSRP are important here in canada since they base gouv. Incentive on the MSRP.

All it does in my 2023 is bring up suggested public parking garages/lots/areas for me to drive to.I assumed my 23 had Park Assist since it has the physical button for it, but later learned that is yet another feature missing from the 23’s like the hands free lift gate. I wonder what using the park assist button tho on a 23 will even do. I have been reluctant to hit it ?
What can I find the build date and plant location? I tried looking at the copy of the window sticker from my dealer, but can’t seem to find this information.No. Mine was built Jan 19, 22 and did not have hans-free lift but I do have the hardware and could program it if I had whatever those tools are. All are built at the same plant in Mexico. Not sure if build date is on sticker but it is on the door. What can I find the build date and plant location? I tried looking at the copy of the window sticker from my dealer, but can’t seem to find this information.
Ah ok thanks! All are built at the same plant in Mexico. Not sure if build date is on sticker but it is on the door.
They have to discount the Model Y more because it sucks. ?It’s actually worse here. The Mach-E that matters (premium AWD ER) is 60k and qualifies for zero incentive, while the equivalent MY is 48 and qualifies for 7.5.
So no, no amount of dealer price cutting on the face of god’s earth will get you to price parity.
And yes, Mach-E are piling on the dealers’ lots. While Teslas are not flying off the shelves, they are selling 8-10x more than the Mach-E.
“Dealers may sell for less”.Unless Ford cuts all Mach E prices across the board by $10k they're just going to continue to pile up at dealerships.
My understanding is the 2024 has a slightly more efficient motor - but 10 miles isSo the AWD is listed as 300 mi of range now. Are there any actual changes between a 23 and 24 that would increase the EPA range by 10, or would it just be software changes that should theoretically exist for the older models?
Tesla cut the price again a few days ago, but said there will be a $1,000 price increase March 1st.Not sure this is accurate.
