Fordpass didn't work.
I tried on my computer for the last hour.
Tried on my phone many times.
Used chrome instead of safari and boom it worked. Probably coincidence though.

Try reserving it using the Ford Pass App in connected services. It worked on the first attempt.

I ended up using “do not track” mode on safari and it finally let me in. Took a little over an hour

Finally got in after about 45 minutes. Received the confirmation email with a link to check order status. The link initially didn't work, but I checked later and it showed an order # in the 5400 range and an estimated ship date of May.

Damn, I saw this announcement late, as in only three hours after it was posted.

Hope I get mine by the time we leave for vacation at the end of March.

I watched the State of Charge video with the Ford Rep explaining things about this rollout. The Ford guy said the 1st reserved adapters will ship at end of March. So, the great majority = April or later. Sorry man.

actually ordered through the app. Ford site wouldn’t work for an hour. Tried the app and go though after 2nd attemp.
Unfortunately says May 2024 eta.

Thanks so much for the recommendation on the app! I went into connected services and had the reservation option pop up and it worked first try! Estimated ship date is May, but oh well.

I'm amazed at how nice the Ford service people were under so much pressure. I talked with at least two people manning the phones and they were very understanding. They don't do phone orders yet.

I finally got one ordered online about 8'ish and am somewhere in the 5 k order number range.

So the Ford site set a session load time in about 10 to 15 other timed cookies. So I was in Dave mode and wiped all cookies all cash for all profiles that got me to the next order page but then apparently I blew away one of the cookies that I needed for our session login or something of the sort.
The app, however, has only one set of sessions and it’s been loaded for however long, so it bypasses all this crap authentication crap that they stuck in there, explains why that went right through.

By my math, there are only 6000ish adapters sold so far. 6000 transactions in three hours. 33 Transactions per minute. If the Ford services site is collapsing, they absolutely have daily issues that probably have the SA’s curled up in the fetal position in a corner. Two years ago it was an infrastructure team problem. Now that problem resides farther up the management stack.
