Add the option for other EVs to include the MagicDock locations to see the entire universe of compatible Tesla SCs.
Thanks for the offer. When the date gets closer I’ll PM you.

Guess I didn’t realize it until now but V3 and V4 stations a bit rough in the Midwest along major interstates.

I-80 from Iowa city IA to Kearney NE - 430 miles
I-90 anything west of MN - 900 miles
I-70 Oakley KS to Denver - 250 miles
I-80 north Platte NE to Salt Lake City - 650 miles
I-80 Salt Lake City to Fernley NV - 500 miles

The more I look at this I-80 is going to rely on CCS charging. I find that odd for such a major interstate

Omaha, Des Moines, come on guys! You are good size cities with no V3 or V4 chargers?

#6187 <sigh>. Says estimated delivery is May 2024. Not bad.

Tesla isn’t allowing us to use all V3 chargers. They must have decided not to make those ones available.

Any other company besides Ford/Rivian releasing pressers about NACS charging being available? All accessing the same 15K stalls?

Yup, you’re right. When I filter for all super chargers I see there are 250kW chargers that now show up along some of those routes but they’re not on the adapter approved filter. Bummer

Yup, but if I use it through my tesla app (and join their membership) it will drop the rates down even more compared to billing through blue oval network.
$12.99 per month. More than EA membership.

I believe that all of the automakers released announcements stating 15k. I guess it's not all of the 15k. I believe that an article on Electrek stated that Tesla excluded some of their busiest V3 SCs from the ones that will be available to non-Tesla vehicles.

Yes, $13/month.

But even without monthly fee, their standard rate is lower then what I have to pay for electricity at home from the local utility company.
At home my rate is $0.53/kwh. The two closest Tesla superchargers are $0.44 and $0.46/kwh without membership or $0.35/kwh with memebership.

My local utilities wants to increase rates by 15% again this spring. So potentially my home electricity rate could be around $0.60/kwh in a few months.
Using 45¢ one would break even at 130 kwh

I can't figure out how to reserve a charger no.links work for me
Still doesn't work for me either. I spoke to ford support who closed the chat on me after saying they couldn't help so pretty much service as expected.

Are you on PGE? They have an EV plan for overnight charging (.34/kwh). And that rate actually is good for midnight to 3pm.
Be wary. Often to get the off peak rate requires agreeing to a higher peak rate. depending on your use case the higher peak rate (working at home, retired) can wipe out the low mileage off peak charging savings.

I wonder how many of those sites on key travel corridors are still V2? I owned a Tesla from 2019 thru 2021 and none of the SCs I visited are on the current list of supported NACS locations.

Also likely these locations have an above average utilization and Tesla is keeping the Tesla hoi palloI from revolting by not having them swamped by new users that take up more than one spot per vehicle.
