Got the Tesla update, still waiting on 6.13 and 7 for BC 1.4. I'm guessing they're rolling that out slowly since it failed pretty often with the camera update.

I would place bets for the end of 2024 if we are lucky. Glad I paid for the subscripion in December,. LOL. The OTA process is an embarrassment.

Ford says the vast majority of owners can expect the Supercharger OTA before you receive your adapter. So… between now and sometime this summer maybe.

I love my MachE, but Ford’s OTA process is painful. And not just for this update, but 6.x, the priority updates, blue cruise, etc… If an update has been approved and beta tested, it should be available for install at the owner’s discretion. I certainly hope the next gen vehicles have a different OTA experience.

I received the update yesterday morning with a reservation estimated ship date of June. I had been getting regular updates for the last couple of months. Tuesday I noticed I was getting some connectivity errors from some devices in my detached garage. I found that the WiFi mesh satellite was not connected to the main router. The garage is close enough to the house to have some connections but works best with the satellite. I resynch’d the satellite and have great signal in the building now.

It may be coincidence but in the car is connected through that satellite and shortly after fixing this it got the OTA. If your car is connected to your WiFi network make sure it has a good signal.

I'm in no hurry for the OTA update. What good is it without the adaptor??

I received the Supercharger OTA on March 4, which I was fairly impressed with. Seemed pretty well aligned with the whole adapter reservation process that became available less than a week before. I'm not in EA or anything, and hadn't received any other OTAs in the previous several weeks.

In general I'm pretty critical of Ford's software capabilities, but this one impressed me. If I had been a betting man when they originally announced Supercharger access last year, I would have put money on NO Supercharger access until later this year or even next year. Granted, I haven't received my adapter yet, but it feels like a rare promise that Ford actually delivered on.

I got my software update on March 6th. No adapter and no communication as to when I should expect getting it. I’ve seen others post about charger adapter expected delivery in June and July. How do they know this?

You’re missing the point. I’m not worried about the Tesla OTA. I can charge without it. Ford’s OTA process is slow, cumbersome, and frustrating.

So, in other words, it is performing exactly as expected?

Within minutes of making my reservation, I received an email from Ford with subject "You fast charging adapter is reserved", and it included a link to check order status. When you click through to the website, it should tell you when to expect it.

In the confirmation email you got you should see "check order status" Click on that, it's a hotlink it'll take you to the ford page, you'll be prompted to log in and then it will load with info about the order including when expected delivery.

I, by the way, placed my order the day we were informed they were available. Mine is now expected to be delivered by June. From above, people who waited a few more days are out into September.

It’s that the expected timeline Ford quotes is not for delivery. It’s the month in which the adapter is expected to ship. Mine is expected to ship in May. I do not expect to take delivery until some time in June. ?‍?

Mine is estimated to get on the slow boat from China in June. Maybe I'll get it in August.
