Would you mind checking mine for me? My dealer is not being super helpful. Purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago. Weirdly, I have the Frunk Release/Alexa/blue Cruise/and most of the "newer" features. but I'm getting notifications for extremely old versions (I Saw 4.2.~ today when exiting the car). Just worried ill never get caught up at this speed LOL 3FMTK4SX4PMA23874You car has its first OTA sitting in the queue right now. The OTA trigger was created on 3/5. Start the car as that is what needs to be done to allow the OTA trigger to proceed to the next time. Not a remote start; start it as if you were going to drive it. The OTA is 4.2.1.

The 4.x.x updates are not as old as you may think. Based on the Sync version you're on, these are the ones you are due next. OTA dashboard shows 4.2.1 and 4.2.2.2 installed within two days of each other.Would you mind checking mine for me? My dealer is not being super helpful. Purchased the vehicle a few weeks ago. Got it, So no dealer visit necessary? Do you think it will catch up like it should? I'm just trying to make sure I get the Supercharger update, as I will be traveling in a month or two and hoping to use the Tesla adapter and Plug and charge. The 4.x.x updates are not as old as you may think. The serial number on Ford's side is 1SN2S6TI. However, looking at vehicle history, it shows that the TCU was programmed correctly but the APIM was not. They tried to PMI it twice, but it failed both times as it would not take one of the files. Send me a pic of the entire "about sync" screen when you can.Hi all, me again. I finally got my car back after the issue where my Sync version was super old (version 21136_PRODUCT, rev 134). My dealer was waiting a while to receive a new APIM and TCU. Yesterday I had an appointment to swap the modules and I got my car back today. I get into my car and look at the Sync Version, lo and behold, it's still 21136_PRODUCT, rev 134, and everything still looks the same (old format) for sync screen - no camera or settings button at the top, only the car logo.
I noticed the Sync serial number and Onboard modem serial number changed, so I guess that's promising that they actually did swap out the APIM but still very disappointing that they didn't fix my software version. Did they put an old APIM in that had the same issue?? Frustrating that I spent all this time and headache of not having a car to get it back the exact same as it was. I doubt I'll even get the updates to charge my car at the Tesla chargers since I haven't received OTAs ever.
Is there any hope that it'll get updated via OTA?
VIN is 3FMTK3R70MMA00183 if anyone can check my FDRS updates and see if maybe there's some update they didn't apply?
The note on the sheet they gave me says "Updated software version after numerous attempts the update loaded successfully."The serial number on Ford's side is 1SN2S6TI. For what it's worth, here's what the Sync screen looked like in January before this whole process. The serial number on Ford's side is 1SN2S6TI. Stand by. Had to ask for a second opinion. It does not look to me like your situation is fixed. For what it's worth, here's what the Sync screen looked like in January before this whole process.
The SN was different back then at least.
They didn't update anything according to what I can see in FDRS vehicle history.Round 3!
Tried another dealer after all the shenanigans with my '21 this week. They were able to observe and will warranty resolve the coax cable that drops bc/adaptive cc whenever I go over a bump.
They claim to have updated HVAC and applied the stuck charge update. Would an FDRS-holder be able to check their work for me?

Doesn't seem like it to me either. I just don't get how they appeared to replace the APIM (based on SN) but this one is also stuck on an old Sync version? Do new APIMs come with old Sync versions?Stand by. Had to ask for a second opinion. It does not look to me like your situation is fixed.
Well that's frustrating. They got Ford engineering involved last time which led to them swapping the APIM and TCU. I do have a case open with the Ford EV team so maybe I'll start there and see what they can do.@PianoDan0 Confirmed that your car is still messed up. The dealer won't be able to help you without getting engineering involved. I've dug through your vehicle history trying to determine when your car got messed up, but I guess that doesn't really matter. Warranty history shows a dealer tried to run the 21G01 campaign on your car last August, but vehicle history does not show this was done. Your car should be on Sync 21146, the the server does not have the update you need showing for you. The -ES update is the one you need released your APIM at the right level, but it is not showing for you on Ford's side. They can swap out your APIM 100 times over, and the PMI will not pull the correct files for your vehicle.
