OMFG LOL. VIN sent.
As I suspected you do have a stalled oil pump. P0C2A code which goes back as far as I can see to Jan 23, and probably before that. So for the past 2000+ miles. A couple day ago on March 12th there was a second code P0B0D that started for a failed transmission fluid pump control module. Is that when you think the 88 MPH limit started?

Since the fluid pump has been stalled for the past 2000 miles, I'm guessing the front motor is badly contaminated with metal shavings and will have to be completely replaced. Make sure you call the Ford BEV team and get a case started since you will probably be without the car for several weeks.

@DevSecOps was the one that also got the HVBJB fixed for all thru the NHTSA. That link explains he also knew of another big problem showing up in vehicles. Unfortunately he got rid of his car so we may not see the same help that we saw before.

It has a warning when I open the door to pick up the mail if in park but nothing when it is frying the motors? So is Ford hoping that it runs fine with no coolant when kept below 90 mph? I am feeling for Ford everything that could go wrong appears to be transpiring. To drive we have a HVB connected thru contacts (problem) to electric motors (problem) to drive shafts (problem) then cv's to the wheels. If you want to stop there is old fashion disc brakes (problem).

What worries me is that since this throws no warnings, people could drive thousands of miles like it without knowing……. Right past their warranty expiration period!

wow! thanks a ton for looking into that for me. I have 24 months left on this lease. Probably time to look into one of those after market warranties. :<

I've never driven close to 87mph, so I guess I would never know if I had this issue. That does seem like a flaw in error reporting.

I found this interesting and a little scary too.
Would an odbii and Torque show those error codes?

They would be available using any OBDII reader I would think...codes is codes....

I use torque a few times a month just because. Interesting to see the charge rate, horse power, soc of the 12 v battery. But I never checked the fault codes.
Well I just checked and no codes are stored in the ECU. I think that's good news.
Now off the change the oil.
in the Moke not the Mache.

How can we check periodically to see if this is happening to our cars? Just send you the VIN? Now I'm worried about a catastrophic event like the stalled fuel pump, esp when there is no error message. This service you're doing the forum members is appreciated but the only solution can't be to send you our VINs ? that's asking for trouble

You can do that with an OBDII scanner and the CarScanner app.

I use CarScanner to record trips and monitor the HVB SoH. But I have not been checking for codes. I will now. Probably weekly. It is very easy to do, but I never thought it was necessary before.

You can call your service advisor and ask them to pull up your vehicle health and ask what DTCs they are seeing. Your car reports to the cloud everyday that you drive it.
