Yes, indeed. Who has time to view half-hour youtube vids to get three paragraphs of information? It's not attention span, it is simple efficiency. If they had hands-on access to new hardware, that would be different.

So I listened to it on the way to work and they're literally reading the press release. No inside info that I'm aware of.

That performance fee point is controversial. I don’t think you are paying for software, I think you are paying for warranty risk as the limits of the system are pushed harder.

They also talk about why they haven’t been recommending the MME compared to competitors; performance throttling (it’s a Mustang!) and slow charging.

Kyle loves the range on the MME but doesn’t like the slow charging and that even with the improvements, it’s still too slow to recharge. Also he’s hopeful that the new thermal modeling that Dickson talks about means the MME can now rip like it’s capable of doing.

Monetization. His videos are that long to enable more commercials which makes YouTube and Google happy, which gives him money, which allows for more videos. Wash, rinse, repeat (ad nauseam). It's still excessive though.

I will admit though that after acquiring my first EV, which was 100% an impulse purchase AND shocked my kids (all in their 30's), the combination of actually living with an EV along with many views of Kyle's content is why I am driving a brand new GTPE.

And I don't miss the irony that Kyle never really embraced the Mach-E since he strongly emphasizes road tripping strengths of EV's. Exactly the opposite of my personal EV mission statement.

I note though that Kyle seeks highly of Bluecruise 1.2+, and he has stated several times that he has friends with Mach-E's that love them.

I like the Out of Spec team but they regularly post 1-2 hour long videos and the Lightning-Rivian-Cybertruck-Chevy video was over 3 hours long. I can’t watch movies that long anymore let alone a YT video. No way that length of video is better than the shorter 20 min and more often method.

You’ll get no argument from me on that point. Personally, I prefer the @Mach-E VLOG videos, but that’s just me.

As do I. They are of reasonable length and have a bit of entertainment/humor in them while being informative!
