Further, Musk was not a founder of Tesla, despite suing to be declared one
Well, technically he wasn't a founder of PayPal either. He was just there due to a buyout of his company when the new company changed its name. The founders of what became PayPal were Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, and Luke Nosek. Musk was pushed out as CEO just a few months after the merger.
Let's hope that BP cares for the chargers better than they did the Gulf of Mexico and the workers who died on duty in 2010. Many from the Gulf south would refuse to buy from them, regardless of the product. I apologize if this is considered politics.

Remember the Deepwater Horizon disaster.
Deepwater Horizon ≠ DCFC Networks.

Just as a friend of mine was talking to me, seriously even, bout opening his own DC charging station, in the middle of town. He figured like $100k. I asked if he ever planned on getting a second charger...

Forgot to mention opening NACS and SuperChargers to other EVs. He built that network and could have easily kept it all proprietary, which I'm sure advisors and other CEOs would have picked in a heartbeat as the strategy.
But no, all of us are going to (eventually) benefit because he just wants to see EVs be successful, not squeeze every last dollar from a closed charging network.
No he just wanted govt funding for public charging. Once he got that he gutted the work force. He's not the benevolent billion he brainwashed you to believe.

Normal everyday policy in the 80s, hire enough people to satisfy a contract and when the contract was fulfilled you got your notice at the end of the day and if you were close to being vested in a pension plan you weren't called back.
That's not even the worst, now it's becoming a practice that if you give a two week notice, you get fired on the spot and they put that on your record! So if you plan to leave a job give those eFers a post it note the day you quit.

Wow, I gave a 3 month notice so that my pension would start on my last day.

I gave a six month notice of my retirement, it's not the same as changing to a new job. I've seen people trying to show respect to a company by giving a two week notice of quitting, only to be fired on the spot as an act of revenge and putting a black mark on their record.
People would think that giving a notice and having that notice respected is the way it should be. My last job move, the company did the fire on the spot move to the two previous people that left, so when it was time for me to move on, I left them a fucking post-it note at the guard shack on my last day, as far as I'm concerned, that company reaped what it sowed.

I don't have much experience with job moves since I was at my previous job for 32 years and my current one for 6 years.

$500,000? That's it? ?. In the world of finance we use "M" for $1,000 not "K". M is actually the Roman numeral for 1,000.

I have to make a concentrated effort to type "$500K" ?. Nails on a chalkboard to me ?.

But I digress. I don't trust Musk especially his spontaneous tweets. Fire that douche and get a real auto CEO at Tesla.

Some of us think the same thing about you ????
Yes but @AliRafiee is not responsible for an entire company. What do we care if he rides around his backyard on a stick horse wearing a tutu. FREEDOM! ?

I never bought into all the previous Musk hate (never wanted a Tesla but I appreciated the ingenuity) but it sure seems like he's going full Howard Hughes on us as of late. How long until he starts walking around with tissue boxes on his feet?

I still don’t understand why he opened up his proprietary charging network to competitors. It was a certainly competitive advantage for Tesla (and the only reason I’d consider buying a Tesla). It makes no sense from a competition standpoint.
