Will possibly be parking the MME outside during a Canadian winter, and am interested in purchasing a decent car cover that's good for those conditions (snow, ice, rain, small tree branches).

I started an initial search, and my Facebook feed is now full of ads from numerous car cover companies (Seal Skin, Budge, Empire, a handful of others). It's hard to differentiate one from the other.

Any recommendations?

How about purchasing from Ford accessories where the car cover has a "flap" where the charging outlet is located

More concerned about protection from the elements, to be honest, because I won't be using the MME much during the winter. Not saying the Ford cover doesn't fit the bill, just saying that access to the charging outlet isn't at the top of my list of must-have things for the cover. It's also a bit on the pricey side (don't know much about it, maybe the higher price is worth it).

One can also rent a storage unit. Drive the Mach E into it, pull the 12V battery cable and have needed protection for those four months not using the vehicle.

For the Facebook ads, try a VPN. When I had an FB account, the VPN had an option to block tracking. Stops the creepy ads from following you around. Unless you want the ads, then disregard this.

For the MME, is a metal carport kit an option instead of a car cover? Available for decent prices at Home Depot and Lowes, etc. More protection from everything, especially branches, and you can still get in and drive away when needed.

Are you doing a reverse snow bird? I didn’t think Ft. Myers got that cold.
