Apparently it wasn’t just the GT that got a torque boost.

Dropped from 4.8 to 4.1 seconds for the ER AWD models.
Supposedly better wiring and a new front motor. Not sure why Ford buried this lead.

At this stage I would forgo even higher acceleration for better efficiency.
