Got the email moments ago but don't have the update yet. Hopefully soon!
When I checked it wasn't ready either. Took car for 10 minute drive and when I parked it was available for download.

Just in time for the one year anniversary of the announcement that 1.3 will be rolling out Soon™

I guess they knew they had to get it out before July 13th or they would be getting clowned on endlessly in that thread.

Mine's been downloading for at least 20 minutes. Though nice to have, I can't try it until I get my camera fault fixed. I take the car in Tuesday for repairs.

I got an email about getting BlueCruise 1.3 soon so I went to the car and checked, sure enough, BC 1.3 was ready to download. I am taking it out this afternoon to try it out. I am in EA but the email said I was free to discuss BlueCruise 1.3.

Group ID 1 - Feature Enhancement- BlueCruise 1.3

This Ford BlueCruise 1.3 update brings improved hands-free highway driving performance to keep you hands-free longer, including the latest BlueCruise features - Lane Change Assist and In-Lane Repositioning as well as an upgrade to the Adaptive Cruise Control system with Predictive Speed Assist.

  • BlueCruise 1.3 (equipped vehicles only):
  • More hands-free highway time: In our internal testing, BlueCruise 1.3 stayed engaged in hands-free mode for an average of 5 times longer compared to BlueCruise 1.0
  • Smoother drive: BlueCruise 1.3 significantly enhances hands-free driving performance, including greater ability to navigate in curves and narrow lanes, reducing the number of hands-free disconnects from prior versions. New Features:
  • Lane Change Assist: allows you to use the turn signal switch to indicate a desired lane change, which the system will perform when the path is clear. It will also suggest a lane change in slower-moving traffic.
  • In-Lane Repositioning: can help provide more space by subtly shifting away from vehicles in adjacent lanes, giving you a little extra room when you need it. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Predictive Speed Assist:
  • When Predictive Speed Assist is active, the ACC system will now temporarily adjust the vehicle speed in advance of curves and will display a road geometry indicator in the instrument cluster display explaining the reason for the speed adjustment.
  • Although Predictive Speed Assist is now deployed on your vehicle, the In-vehicle Driver Assistance screen will still show a Speed Sign Recognition slider. To activate Predictive Speed Assist, push this slider to the right. The text of this slider will change to Predictive Speed Assist in an upcoming software update.

To manage your Ford BlueCruise settings, go to your in-vehicle Driver Assistance screen. Available Feature. Equipped Ford vehicles come with either a complimentary trial period or an included duration, after which purchase of a BlueCruise subscription is required. Modem activation is required for subscription purchase and for initial activation of BlueCruise (for pre-2024 model year vehicles). See ford.com/bluecruise for details. BlueCruise is a driver-assist feature and does not replace safe driving or driver’s attention, judgment or need to control the vehicle. Only remove hands in a Hands-Free Blue Zone. Always watch the road and be prepared to resume control. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations. IPMA-24.204.8.27

22 ER RWD Premium here in EA, got the email and am currently updating! I’ve gotten to drive with the 1.3 in a ‘23 GT PE and the lane change is really magical, so thrilled it’s finally coming to my pony!

I hope it gets pushed to general release soon, and also for the 2021s.

The In-Lane Repositioning is what I really want, I find with BlueCruise 1.0, the vehicle wants to pull much closer to other vehicles than I am comfortable with, and so I end up not using it. The other features sound good too, but this is the one 'fix' I really need to feel comfortable using BlueCruise more.

I'm assuming those getting this were already on or really close to 6.14. Unlike the majority of 21's that are on something less than 6.8. I think the 21's are still far away from the soon timeline. The 22's have been close since like January. But this is rolling out to EA, which means we could well have months more silence before it rolls out publically.

At least in BC 1.2 on my '23.0, the in-lane repositioning is only in effect when you're next to a large vehicle, like a semi, and doesn't go into effect with other car-sized vehicles. I find that it's pretty good at keeping me centered in the lane otherwise, but that I was fighting with it a bit at the beginning, because my personal comfort place is a little left of center in the lane. Once I got used to it, I stopped fighting it. But it is certainly a welcome thing when it slides over a bit when you're next to a semi...

Yes, you pretty much need everything up through 6.14. The 6.x series of updates was meant to prepare for BC 1.3.

I'll also add in-lane repositioning and assisted lane changes only work in Blue Zones. If you are on a divided highway that's not protected access, they won't work.

I got 6.14 in April, nothing since. BC 1.3 update completed without issue.

Coincidentally I'm going on a 240mi trip tomorrow and am looking forward to trying it.

Anyone not in EA getting this yet? How do I sign up for EA? I'd really like to get BC update before my subscription runs out.
Lots of people in EA aren’t getting the update atm. Getting into EA is no guarantee you’ll get any given update before the general MME population.
