That is not a lot of miles for 3 years. I am at 10k now at 2 years and I have never taken my MME on a road trip. Just city miles...
I work from home. So I really only roadtrip with it (not in the winter) and bopping around the city.

also, that’s per year. So 3 years, total 31500 miles.

Oh, per year..that would be plenty for me. I bought my 22 MME with cash so I will hold on to it for a while. My next MME will be a lease I think. Love your color!

So I upgraded.

I couldn't pass up nearly $14,000 in incentives (with A/Z plan). I traded in my First Edition 2021 Job 1 for a GT 2024 with Performance Upgrade. I've had it for 3.5 years and my 4 year "Options" plan was coming to an end soon... considering my '21 was in a decent accident 60 days after purchase, and had some paint problems, needed some more body work, squeaks were starting to happen... I figured now was a good time to take the plunge.

If you know me and have read my posts (I was one of the first members of this forum), I am extremely dissatisfied in the way Ford has handled OTA rollouts and promises. I was one of the first deliveries of the Mach-E back in early Feb 2021, and was one of the first non-Ford employees to take it for a ride in Sept 2020. I have been hyper-critical of Ford and their ability to keep promises and, most importantly, within a reasonable timeframe and subsequent communication. It should also be noted that I waited MANY months for the BlueCruise 1.0 rollout after delivery, and I am in Early Access.

•3 years to rollout an electronic frunk release? Unacceptable
•1 year to START rolling out BlueCruise 1.3 OTA from public announcement? Pathetic
•1-2 years for halfway-decent PaaK improvements? Terrible

These items could have and SHOULD HAVE been solved in weeks, if not a few months. Not years. Most phone manufacturers (namely Android ones) drop support for their devices after a few years, for context. Imagine having to wait LONGER than the average life of a phone for a SINGLE meaningful update... That's just sad!

So here's where I stand... I am extremely happy with the 2024 Mustang. I love the way it looks, I love the way it drives. BlueCruise 1.3 is exactly what I was hoping for all along, and I genuinely can't imagine too many improvements with this type of system. If BC 1.4 comes along (or higher), great. But I can road trip in peace now without a constant nervous level of supervision over BC 1.0. I truly don't believe there is another vehicle out there that comes close in capability for the price (that include Level 2+ highway hands-free driving). The Equinox EV comes close I suppose, but no CarPlay/Frunk was a dealbreaker for me. Plus it doesn't look nearly as nice and the price is extremely similar. The Blazer EV doesn't have SuperCruise AND is hideous in my opinion.

I still believe Ford needs to improve on their OTA rollout speed and cadence, truly listen to customer feedback and give us more customization, AND communicate better (both the good and the bad, in a timely manner). I won't stop calling them out on this.

Next things I WILL be advocating heavily for (in order of importance to me):
•Charging Speed shown on dashboard (this should have existed since 2021)
•A better regen/power gauge rather than just a little tiny line
•UI improvements
•Car Wash Mode
•Pet Mode
•Sentry Mode
•Sound packs (chimes/propulsion sounds/etc.)... have you heard the chimes in the 2025 Mustang (ICE)??? They're SICK!

Anyways, thanks for listening. Eruption Green with the Bronze Appearance Package is by far, the most beautiful combination for this vehicle. Feast your eyes upon "Raph"!

(for those that don't get the reference, "Raph" or "Raphael" is one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles known for strength (and bad temper LOL).

Here's hoping the next 3 years is better than the first 3 years!
Sharp car! Awesome color!

I got 57% off MSRP on an APLAN 2023 GT, but I took a $12,000 loss on trade for my 2021 Select (put $8,000 down!). Overall, was a little ahead with much more car!

But, I leased it. I’m done in April 2027.

I want a C8 (it’s a bucket list car).They don’t lose value!!!

Here’s my take from someone who has gone (and continues to go) through TWO battery replacement recalls as a result of LG Chem batteries, not to mention several other major issues resulting in one of my EV’s being out of commission for weeks on end: the degree to which you like the car is in direct proportion to what you will put up with.

I was very disappointed in GM when they expanded the battery recall to all Chevy Bolt EV’s since mine DID NOT contain an LG battery made in Korea. I complained that the recall would severely impact the resale value of a perfectly safe car. But GM stepped up and offered me an MSRP swap; they gave me back the FULL MSRP on my 2019 Bolt (with two months left on its warranty) towards a new 2022 Bolt. Of course I paid almost $5k less than MSRP on the 2019 and also received the full $7,500 tax credit, but the best part is the MSRP of the 2022 Bolt had been lowered by like $8k!! So I ended up getting a brand new 2022 Bolt AND a check for $8k!! I’m a Ford guy, but this really changed my opinion about GM!

Now my early edition of the first model year Jaguar I Pace is a whole other story. I’ve been through hell and back, but am finally dropping it off on Wednesday for a brand new battery. Despite a sum total of months, MONTHS, without my car, I absolutely love everything about it. In fact, I almost bought a used I Pace instead of the Mach E I picked-up yesterday, but my wife would have probably filed for divorce.

Totally agree with your points. The 2024s are what the 2021s should have been at launch or shortly after, and are finally "decent". The response time fix the software, add features, and incorporate customer feedback items is unacceptable and needs to improve dramatically. The UI is still slow, I was honestly shocked the 2024 UI did not get any kind of upgrade by now and has the exact same bottlenecks my car has. Overall many of us are left wondering what they've been up to for the past 3 years since not much has changed.

I have a couple years left, but I'll need to see more improvements delivered to buy again. Rivian is already on their second generation of EVs since the Mach-E has been on sale.
