2024 Mach-e premium’s trunk - kick open feature QR code sticker

There’s a sticker with a QR code for instructions on how to use the “kick to open” feature; however, the Mach-e does not have the chip that activates this.

I have it, works great, along with self parking. I will trade my 2021 Select for your 2024 Premium if you like? You might have to sweeten the deal though, self parking really impresses firends.

I think it’s not a kick open anymore but you can set how high the tailgate goes up doing this.

Ya, that's the only reason I can imagine it's still on there - though they should obviously just update the sticker.

Sticker still makes sense to me. Set the tailgate where you want it, then swipe your leg under to confirm where you want it to open next time. Maybe it uses the back up sensors or something, who knows.

Golf buddy of mine bought a Lyriq a couple months ago. Salesman told him he could charge it at Tesla stations. I explained it to him. He then said that wasn’t what the salesman told him. I had to explain how car salesmen frequently don’t know shite about electric cars and frequently are flat out wrong and they don’t know it.

9/10 times I know more about the car than the salesman since I do a ton of research ahead of time, I just figured when the tailgate thing didn’t work it was normal as he was trying to demonstrate it. Doesn’t work very well on my wife’s Mazda either lol
