You go first! ?

My "legacy" version worked yesterday and I plowed through everything that popped up for both vehicles in the last couple of months.

One thing for sure, Ford shows no signs of letting up on the continuous refinements on these vehicles. OTA might torture you, since it just can't keep pace, but that Mongoose hardly gets a chance to gather dust.

By the way, I was starting to think that we'd go a full year without a 2024 Sync4 build. But alas, 24174 has arrived. (will the Mach-E get a compile?)

Well the MME did get 1122...which is the same 'new UI' look with monochrome top row icons, etc.

Were you hoping for something even newer?

I wonder if the APIM update for your Lightning is what Ford mentioned would be coming out in Q4 via OTA for SSM 52574?

My bad if the current Mach-E APIM build is 24xxx
I'm too F150 centric in my FDRS brain since the truck(s) have ~3 years of me sitting in the cockpit with a laptop, vs I'm still honeymooning with the Mach-E. ?

But yeah, I guess I am. Perpetually. Hoping for something newer, I mean. It's a terrible addiction.

"One ring to rule them all"?

I'm not sure this latest rev. is what they had in mind when they said that. I think it's going to be a bigger overhaul than simple UI changes. But then...I don't have any insight into what their actual plans are either.

By the way, the trunk module update finishes by requesting the user to open the trunk with the fob or the Sync4 screen. Then close it as well.

I used the Sync4 screen and was happy to see that I didn't have to touch the button twice to open. :)

Can I use this to finally get my Blue Cruise 1.3 update that has been sitting in "not completed" for about 3 months now?

FDRS? yes, you can install the individual software images onto each module. It will not correct any "failed OTA update" errors since you are not updating via an OTA package. ??

Yep, either him or @markboris ????
Wait. I want to be Mark. ?

I'm just a hillbilly with a bunch of kids, grandkids, and a barn with some tools. It looks good in pictures. But it's really noisy and there's a bunch of mosquitoes. I'm just saying.

In TSB 23-2155 it says this:
Reset the Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Learned Values application in the Ford Diagnosis and Repair System (FDRS). Then run the IPMA - Image Processing Module A (IPMA) Alignment application immediately after.

Is this easy to do if I got a FDRS license?
Is this something that could also be done in Forscan?

I can't comment on ease, but that TSB should definitely be done at the dealer, unless you're out of warranty, as it is hit or miss if it is software or the coax. Most seem to have the coax problem and the software fix is only a short band-aid.

I am out of warranty. I had read somewhere that the U3000-49 error once it triggers may be stuck there until the IPMA is reset. I am pretty sure my issue is in the cables and I was also thinking of doing that work myself as well.
