Thanks for sharing the new delivery update.

As a datapoint - Rivian is starting to ship adapters to customers who took delivery in June 2023.

75,100, March 21 order, the day I bought the car, has been drop kicked from September’24 to January’25. A quick look at other order numbers in this thread suggests January’25 for me is insanely optimistic.

This is ridiculous! I was just mad that yesterday I saw the date moved from September to October and today it moved all the way to January. I ordered this in March'24 and it's taking almost a year to get it. Why?

Ford and others should be working to accelerate 3rd party adapters to be properly tested and provide those instead of relying solely onto Tesla for adapters.

I wonder if there was any thing to do with the negotiations done in the beginning, to get access to Superchargers, where Ford requested a lower price per adapter and Rivian and GM are paying a higher value and thus they get priority in the delivery.

Seems I'll be getting my R2 with native NACs, before Ford can finally deliver the adapters to Canadian customers...

Dang, that really sucks for you guys. I hope Ford can figure out a way to get these things out faster, even if it means using a third party vendor.

While we have all been waiting months and Tesla has finally increased production but now GM has supercharger access and is getting adapters immediately. I mean, they had to pay for them, but they are getting them. My neighbor with his Blazer EV that he just bought last month is going to get his adapter before me? Ridiculous.
For $250 you could also get an adapter quicker.

Placed order on 2/29/24, Order number 19560. Seen it move today to January 2025. Disappointing.

That's exactly what GM is doing

Must be a great time to own A2Z and Lectron though.
Yup. My Lectron works great. Just used it to show my dad how to charge his Bolt EUV at a supercharger. I have only used it on the MME once so far, but I do charge at home most of the time... and superchargers aren't the cheapest place to DC charge around here, anyway. It'll get some good use on our next trip from MD to MI to visit my wife's family.

I did, and it works beautifully. I waited until I had a trip planned with less than ideal EA coverage. But hard to convince the wife I need to pay for something I should be getting for free any minute.

GM already has tested and approved Lectron.

Okay, fine. I've been had. Still doesn't explain the November estimate for a 140XXX reservation number, unless that one was fake, too.

I'll stop speculating. I already have my adapter and it doesn't affect me any longer.
My Lightning says Nov 2024, ordered Sept 2024.
