Your statements are related to what information/data?
Let's call it an educated guess because if I did have specific information/data about this, I probably shouldn't be posting about it on a forum.

My thoughts exactly. Anybody here an attorney and would like to initiate a class action law suit?
I'm in. I can't wait until I get a check for $6.77 and a free 1-month BC 1.0001 on my FE in 2027!

First off, I'm no fan of subscriptions!!! That being said, I paid the $600 for 3 years as I also had the impression Ford would continue to update my 2021 Job 1 car. I am still hoping that happens. Why Ford won't just come out and give us an update is my bigger beef!!!

I used my BC 1.0 (1.2) this weekend on a trip from ATL to Gainseville FL and it was great. Works much better at night than the day as the street markings are easier for the car to see without the glare of the sun.

Would I have paid the $600 knowing we may not get an update? Unsure.......

Am I wrong or did Ford not include the 2021's in their post when they announced the pushing of 1.3 OTAs?
The Ford media team post can be found in the link below. To avoid the need to read, the first part definitely includes model year 2021s. In the details they said they would start pushing to 2022 model year cars first. But that was just a wee while back. :)

Would love to see a poll for all 2021 owners that WOULD subscribe to Bluecruise for the current subscription rate, if they have Bluecruise 1.3 update already installed.

I would suspect the take rate would be very similar to the take rate for the 2022-2024 Mach-E that does have Bluecruise 1.3/1.4, but the trial is over.

Low.

Or put another way, I suspect the vast majority of current licensed Bluecruise vehicles on the road today are operating with a subscription that came with the acquisition of the vehicle, and or the subscription offer was far less expensive than the current offer ($500 annual)

There were also significant changes between 2021 Job 1 and Job 2 cars.
Significant? Hardware, I assume.....Such as?

Seems really odd that Ford made "significant" HARDWARE changes from year one to year two of a model.....so much so that going forward the first year model may well be a legacy product while the second year model going forward are not?!?!?

If there is a thread/post about the significant changes between Job 1 and the models going forward...I'd love a link.

The "whys" on making significant changes in just the second model year is odd.
Was Job1 rushed to market? Color me curious.

The tiniest of changes can thwart the software code working on either module. So whether the change is considered "significant" depends.

Same here, last update on my 2021 dates back from june. Somehow, the public charging app appeared lately.

My car is running fine with no bugs. Why would I care for more updates?

I re-upped BC at the end of last year because “it’s coming soon”. Not thrilled about this Ford.
The stoppage is probably coming soon as well, but they can't manage to get that done either. Just saying...

yeah, we’re all stuck in purgatory. Hopefully Ford can figure out what bottleneck needs to be solved so 2021 Job 1 & 2 cars can get back up to speed.
I've got a 21 J2 and haven't had an update since May.

In the same boat here, EA member. Purchased BC subscription, still on 1.2. No updates for more than 60 days, It would be nice to think those of us that helped launch the Mach E, suffered through bugs, glass and roof recall, bad brake pads, HVJB recall. then purchased when the vehicle our Ford Options period ended, would receive some form of gratitude and special care. We were the first line answering questions and showing off the new kid on the block to show a viable elon option. I know of at least one purchase from my recommendation.
Get with it Ford, take care of the early adopters, especially those that have remained loyal.
yada yada yada ... unfortunately that's how Ford construes some of our grievances. They have an EV business that is in the dumps (like every other US manufacturer), and they need to first focus on acquiring (plenty of) new customers.

Loyalty has no additional value these days, unless you continuously contribute to signficant revenue upside (such as loyal frequent flyers). Nowadays it's all about snagging new customers or subscribers to your platform.

Are we talking general updates (Priority Update - Entry season) or something different? I don't use BC except by mistake so I don't care about that

Ford has built a dynamite EV platform that is reliable, low-maintenance, performant, good-looking and fun as hell to drive. But their software is shit, and this more than anything will suppress their EV business. I haven’t had an update since early July, and when I get one after this drought I fully expect it will be Karaoke and nothing else useful at all. Absolutely nothing that will actually improve my life or make the car more useful. Things like:

Pet mode
Sentry Mode
Control over charging rate
PA button (fun Tesla feature)

Or let’s even talk meaningful bug fixes - Sync is so buggy with CarPlay. Routinely the sound won’t work, or my phone won’t auto join, requiring me to reboot sync multiple times while driving.

I don’t mean to bitch. 80% of the time the car is flawless and amazing to drive. But I don’t need games in my updates. I drive a 2021 - it does kinda feel like the software platform has been abandoned. I wish the model E platforms were getting the new digital experience. I don’t get it.

And don’t get me started on Apple. CarPlay hasn’t had any meaningful advancements or changes in years.

What is a “PA button”? Is there also a “MA button”?

To sue for what, exactly?
There was a statement BlueCruise 1.3 would be released for all those with the option. There was a limited time offer for those with expiring subscriptions to renew at a lower cost. It could be argued that many would not have renewed if the update was never going to happen. Failure to deliver.
