It looks like they're making the front trunk smaller although I never use it because I'm too worried about bending the front hood when I close it because it does require some force in order to close it looks like they're making it smaller maybe to accommodate the heat pump.
I’ve been using my frunk regularly for years and have not yet bent the hood. I’d say that’s not something to worry about.

Thank you! Interesting that it is missing the kWh capacity of the battery for the Select and Premium trims. And that the Select is now available with an Extended Range pack, but only in AWD form.

TL;DR AOI. Did they fix the LVB issue so the car doesn't lock your kids inside on a July day and almost bake them to death?
Nope, but there will be Karaoke so they can sing to death.

Maybe ventilation is just not needed, or even helpful, on the ultrasuede GT seats?

I imagine the plastic/leatherette Premium seats get sweaty in hot weather, but the GT seats really don't.
Actually I found the opposite. My ActiveX seats stay cooler in 110+ The GT's and GTPE's I drove I got out of with asweaty back after 20 minutes. They just didn't work for this big guy (I'm not that big, I've been bigger lol) 250/5ft10. The GTPE seats killed the GTPE deal(s) for me.

In the car's i've had vented seats the newer Lexus's are the best. My ISF and IS350's vented seats collapsed, they had a thin pillow that the air blew through and the back of the bottom seat would just get pinched, thus only the shoulders would get air, and the very front of the seat. Which is great to choke yourself when you fart in shorts and don't think it through first. My RX's have always done well and Alfa's in the Giulia Quadrifoglio. I've rented a few cars that the vented seats just made noise and worked great, as long as you didn't sit in them. The Premuim bounces me around enough I think. I force the seats to act as vented as I've never been sweaty in them, an we had 110+ days of 100+ degrees this year.

You can choose not to use 1 pedal driving within the screen, so the L mode seems redundant.
To me it gives the engine breaking effect I like to slow the car when I lift off without trying to stop it. 1-pd is too aggressive for me. L is the sweet spot I like. To each his own.

That's me too. I like 2PD much better than 1PD. And I like everything else about Whisper mode (easier steering and wider pedal range), except I want more regen. Whisper+L is the perfect combo for my tastes. I use that 100% the time.

only 3 things:
1) accessible 12V- basic and common sense
2) legitimate suspension system - also basic and common sense
3) V2H. Without it, makes no sense to switch

heat pump should have been standard from day one
ventilated an useless inclusion, but no problem as an option

There are some tidbits there...

Deletions:
  • Windshield Wiper De-Icer (heated wiper park area)
  • MyKey®
  • Inclination / Intrusion Sensors
Additions:
  • Vapor Injection Heat Pump
  • Monostable Gear Shifter
  • Ventilated (Cooled) Front Seats on Premium
  • Perimeter Alarm (replaces intrusion sensors?)
  • BlueCruise Equipped (One-Time Purchase) Option
  • Unlimited 5G Wi-Fi Hotspot
  • Sport Appearance Package (55R) on Premium
Didn't know about the deletions. Losing the front wiper zone heater is kind of a bummer for people that get winter weather, I don't enjoy frozen wiper blades. Also loss of MyKey if you have a teenage driver. No more motion sensors either, not sure how people will feel about that (I would like to know if my wheels are being stolen).

Another interesting one is it looks like you have to get the glass roof in order to get the infrared reflective (IRR) windshield. Metal roof probably has a regular glass windshield that lets more heat through.

Hello fellow whisper+l user! Just wanted to chime in and say that I agree and it's the best way of driving ;)

Oh no, my god why? Will it be optional with the heating of the wiper zone? If not, the otherwise excellent winter ponny has shit it's own bed and rolling around in it. Mach E is used in more places than just the hot ones :/

Keep in mind that's the list for North American vehicles. Vehicles for Norway may have a different set of options included. For example I think you guys get the Quickclear electrically heated windshield, we don't.

There's always the rear cargo area, as long as the cargo cover is intact and the rear seats are up.
Hahaha! PLEASE do not use your rear cargo area like this if you drive a MachE in San Francisco or the East Bay area in 2024/25.

My successful strategy has been to put large Items in the frunk, put small items in the storage area under the cargo area floor mat, keep the rear seats down after parking, and not open the rear hatch at my destination. The only time I had had someone smash my window was when I didn’t follow this protocol and left dry cleaning hanging above the seat with the seats up. A window was smash, but after seeing only dry cleaning was in the car and possibly the alarm going off (I did not get a FordPass notice, but it was set) Nothing was taken Except for $420 to replace and install a new window

In our corner of America, an SUV with tinted windows and a car cover over the rear hatch is almost a sure bet to have a roving smash and grab crew crack open a side window or rear hatch window to see what goodies are hiding under a cargo cover. I’ve seen this happen right in front of me in both S.F. and Oakland, in both cases with PD nearby (perhaps too busy to intervene or unable to give chase due to restrictions-after some civilians were killed in a crash during a chase).

I used the 24/25 timeframe because everyone is fed up with this situation and political leaders have been moving to address these crimes. Hopefully things will get better with recent approvals & upcoming legal and enforcement changes )

Looks like they relocated PRNDL to steering column stock as a lever. I kinda like the PRNDL dial.

Note: it appares to be a R-N-D (Pull back for P)
Column shifters how boring
