Tried to search and didn’t find much on this - apologies if I missed it. My MME lost connectivity last night while charging. Ford Pass not updating was the first give away. Today, after troubleshooting the app and deleting my car from Ford Pass, I saw the data icons missing on the main screen. And nothing comes up under connected vehicle features in settings. Anybody else see this? Known issue? Is there a fix?

My FordPass stopped updating today. Worked fine last night. Removed my PAAK and reinstalled FordPass . Still no Workey. Just spent the last 20 minutes troubleshooting. My fordpass does not show the cars current location or the charging status.

Ok, if there are others happening at the same time, it’s likely not our vehicles then…right?

I had the same issue a couple months ago. Searched the forums and pulled, waited 10 min and reset the fuse at the bottom right red 25. The fuse box under the passenger seat. That reset the modem and got signal back.

My Ford data(website)is wrong too. So it’s not FordPass. Could be the vehicle or connected services is bugging out. Location is Northeast.

Wait, so what did you do? And explain it to me like I’m three. Do those pop out? Did you just pop it out and pop it right back in? Did you pop it out and wait a certain amount of time? This clearly isn’t like a breaker box where you just flip them on and off.

I've always pulled Fuse 11 for the TCU. I imagine that pulling #21/22 for the Gateway Module would also work.

They’re fuses not circuit breakers.

The box is located by the front passengers feet. They’re under a cover. Start with the car off. Carefully remove the cover then use a fuse puller or gently use needle nose pliers. Remove the fuse @Gloff shows in his picture. Wait 10 minutes. Put the fuse back in and try everything again. It will probably work. If for some reason it doesn’t try the lower right fuse as indicated in the earlier post or take it do the dealer. @Gloff knows of what he speaks.

good luck.

Don't be nervous. All you are doing is removing 12V (low voltage) power from a black plastic module buried somewhere in your vehicle. And although a fuse is not a circuit breaker, you removing the fuse and then re-inserting it is pretty much the same thing as flipping a circuit breaker off/on.

Here's a quick little video of removing a fuse. I assure you it's as easy as it looks.

I’ve had this happen once. Tried pulling fuse #11 - didn’t work. I didn’t know about fuse 21/22 so I just pulled the 12v negative off for a few minutes and reconnected. It’s been fine for over a year.

Over the years there has been a day here or there where one or the other of my cars didn’t connect either. I figured something on ther ford server side and let it be. Always corrected within a day or two. I would t get too excited until it’s been a couple days.

Probably a dumb question but I don’t want to break the cover. How do I remove the cover in the foot well on the passenger side? I’ve tugged on it and it seems pretty tight all around.
