I still find them uglier than an Ass-tek (which used to be the ugliest thing on Earth). ??
Hmmm... This from a Pontiac guy, eh? ? (I'll agree with you, though.)

That’s what all of the hard-core Pontiac guys I knew (other than the ones still working for GM at the time) called that abomination. ??

My little brother worked for Chrysler and he called it that too. I always thought it was just a "slamming the other guy's product" thing. I used to ask him what his excuse was for the Crossfire, and don't get me started about K-Cars...

Google the Fiat Multipla. I won't even post a pic of it here. I don't want to be responsible for causing permanent ED to you guys.

I hold you responsible because you said "google". That said.... wow they made that thing for 12 years! 6 years in ED causing form.

Drove the ICE today. No adaptive cruise, lane assist, blue cruise, ETC.

Feeling completely superior to anyone who uses driving aids. Me, super macho for holding the steering wheel straight for 10 hours.

Sorry for your burden. :-( I had to drive a stick shift today. I feel your pain. Not the same as I was going only a couple of miles. Your pain was intense……(Fiat Abarth 2013)

I for one, have very few complaints about BlueCruise except for it's subscription model pricing. Even that, I can sort of understand. In our new world, we are buying software that runs machines, not the other way around.

My experience with BC is in the Central Florida area. I am retired and not in the car much. But on the limited access highways and tollroads around me, it works really pretty well. I find the handling of the car smooth and I have sort of relaxed while it is in command There are driving conditions I don't like about mechanized driving. I have spent my whole life looking way ahead and slowing down early when something ahead is clearly stopped. The computer does not see it that way. LOL. It stops, just not the way I'd like. That aside. I absolutely love it in bumper-to-bumper traffic when BC is active. I hate all the attention it takes to start and stop and creep - the car does that marvelously!!

No complaints in general. It was one of the reasons I bought the car as I am keeny interested in technology and how it is interfaced to people.

I read more complaints these days about forum members being upset that their car does not have the latest and greatest version of BC, or that they are not satisfied with BC performance, or that they are frustrated that they have to frequently get rminders to put hands on the wheel, or whatever.

I have a 2021 Job 1 Premium with what I believe to be version 1.1 of BC (I can go hands-free in certain sections of highway.) My home office is 40-miles one way from my current project site. I drive there on US highways every other day, activating Cruise Control and letting BC keep me lane centered, and when it says "hands free" I relax my hands but keep them on the wheel. Not because I don't trust the system, but because I am old and I think driving a car means driving the car. I have experimented with letting the system slow me and come to a stop when traffic backs up, but I don't like it, because again I am the driver I want to drive. BC works fine for me. I have no complaints. And you know what, if the whiz-bang auto-lane-change and latte-dispenser feature gets pushed to my car I do not think i will ever use it. Because I like driving.

It's other drivers I don't trust, not the MME or BC.
Yes, you are old.

You are obviously not upset because you are completely uninformed. Ignorance is bliss.

No, I renewed my subscription for three more years and was able to use my Ford Pass rewards points for most of the cost. The car has the capability so why not use it?
How many points was it to do that?

My BC complaint in my ‘22 MME Premium is that 2 years ago Ford promised -in writing - that my car’s BC would be upgraded to the next version within two months. It never happened and they won’t respond to my inquiries. So the problem is raised expectations and broken promises.
