Purchasing a '24 GT Plus Minor Changes I've Noticed From My '21 Premium and GTPE

Ok, I have an update.... I am going to start calling my '24 a Job 2 because I keep finding out that some of those changes I noticed that are in my first post here, are different from the pre July '24 builds.

About this cargo cover, I had thought that the little bump in the support hook on the liftgate was larger thereby making it more difficult to snap the cover into it. I found out just now, that my friends early July '24 build has the same size little bump. We both measured the posts on the cover that snap into the bump and mine is slightly larger. So Ford changed that post and made it a big larger for a tighter fit. I am going to change #14 in my list to state this.

You can buy and aftermarket "window shade" version of this cargo cover from 3rd parties. They are available on Amazon but I have heard they doin't mount too well and some have had issues with them.

Hey Erich, the heat pump is in the '25's that are coming out next year. We still have the resistive heater in the '24's and no there is no resistive heater to supplement the heat pump in the '25's.

No plaque, it is embossed in the plastic and looks cheap compared to the aluminum plaque which I have on order.

I have one GT left to remove, the emblem on the hatch. I am having a custom Ford oval emblem being made like I did my last MME but this one will be Glacier Gray and gloss black.

Let me know if you want solid inox plates to fit there, i get in Poland.

Miguel, do you have a photo? I may want that. I agree with Erich that having a black plate there would look better than bright aluminum but I still think the bright aluminum looks better than this cheap stamped plastic. I was actually shocked when I opened the door and saw this.

Interesting. I would prefer the kick plate plaque were the opposite and all black with the horse and MUSTANG in the lighter aluminum.

Anytime I get asked a question on any thread whether it is mine or someone else's, if it does not directly pertain to the subject of the thread, I take it to DM or texting so as not to derail the thread. I may not do it right away and might go back and forth a couple of times but then I will move our conversation off the tread. Congrats on the Glacier Grey! I am currently looking for the same car in Grabber Blue. I found one a couple of hours from here, but unfamiliar with the dealer. Checking with your sales guy to see if he has one coming in since I would rather deal with a known quantity, but the one a couple of hours away sure is tempting. Just swapped out my ‘21 for a leased ‘24.

Another difference - the turn signals sound different.

Oh, and it feels WAAY newer.

I also heard another difference today and added it to the list of things. The front proximity sensor beeping is now a higher pitch tone than the rear sensor beeping.
