I thought sbout it. Wouldn’t have needed to be secret. The sales guy asked me if ghere were any parts I wanted to swap over because he knew some stuff changed. If I were on the ball I would have switched the 2021 metal rear cargo rings in place of the 2024 plastic ones. Not a big deal since they retail for less than $27 inclufing sales tax for the pair. I even forgot one of my AOSK mats (the one in the console) and he walked up to me and gave it to me. This sales guy was super easy to deal with. ??
Did you leave in the front cargo rings or did you remove them? And what about the frunk lighting?

Did you swap your charge port cover secretly to avoid the dimple? ??
Does that dimple bother you too? I know it bothers Steve but not me. I don’t care either way but not enough for me to eliminate it.

Nah, I just caught up on the thread today and saw he said something about the dimple. Then a few posts later I saw he upgraded!

I’ve never had an issue opening or closing the charge door but then I know where to push. I guess it was difficult for some? ?

Cargo rings came out and are now in the 2024. I left the frunk lighting in the 2021. The switch is now on the passenger side of the car, so a little safer if the car's parallel parked. The Steeda bars and the FitcamX also were left in the 2021. ??

The dimple doesn't really bother me. I just prefer the smoother door. I also never had much of a problem opening or closing the door, so the dimple does nothing for me. ?‍♂?

Exactly. Doesn’t do anything for me either but I don’t care that it’s there. You would think with my OCD I would but I don’t. ?

LOL yeah, I prefer the smoother one, but it doesn't bother me having it the way it is. ?‍♂?

My tail light retention nuts were not tight. The outboard ones were loose. The inboard ones were seized to their studs. Trying to unscrew them led to the studs unscrewing from the tail light assemblies. I Loctited the outboard ones and re-tightened them and just cinched the inboard ones down so that their studs were set in the tail lights. ??

Funny you checked those too. I know they have been loose on many of our cars. All of mine were tight.

Dang, you'd think Ford had outsourced manufacturing to Tesla or something

The tail light thing is on my growing list of ‘things to do right before buying a new one in January.’
(As I tend to make most of my car buying in January. For some reason.)
