Technically, you would in fact have BC 1.3 if there are no updates left to install. The improved Adaptive Cruise portion, Lane Centering portion, as well as predictive speed and stability would all be active.

You just wouldn't have the toggle in Sync to enable the new feature(s)

(Lane Change and Lane Bias)

Just make the 2 or 3 Asbuilt edits in APIM and IPMA and you have the new features as well.
Lane bias is the feature I have wanted since first using bc 1.0
Soon…

I am not sure if this applies to 2022 cars but my 2021 Job 2 expired mid-November. Ford offered a complimentary year of BC. The promotional year was only visible on Ford.com when I logged into my account and only offered within 10 days before my subscription expired.

As someone who didn't subscribe to BCHF past the free time they gave us '21 owners/early adopters, I wasn't expecting anything from this update, but of course it still managed to disappoint...

Has anyone else noticed that post-1.3 BC update, "normal" BlueCruise (adaptive cruise + lane centering) is much more aggressive with deceleration? My commute is a very hill-y highway, and I always thought my Mach-E (with BC 1.0) handled it very well, no extreme braking going downhill, and managed to keep set speed very well.

Now after the update to 1.3, it's braking on almost every downward slope... Hard enough to annoy me and activate the brake lights. It also seems slightly more aggressive with the acceleration uphill, which I think adds to its extreme deceleration once you top the hill.

I noticed that too. I usually change from Unbridle (surface street mode) to Whisper mode with BCHF on the expressway. Now that I have BC 1.3 in Whisper mode it accelerates harder than it did before when traffic clears to get back to my set speed. Used to be a smooth slow acceleration, now it's almost the same as Unbridle acceleration.

Yea - I tried switching drive modes, but they all felt about the same to me.

I have a Hummer and it is fully automatic for lane changes, also works on 2 lane highways and interchanges. SuperCruise is way better than BlueCruise. Many more miles of mapped highways.
Does SuperCruise have Lane Centering when not on mapped highways yet?

Early Job 1 2021 vehicle is still on BC 1.0. Not positive any JOb 1 owners have received BC 1.3

Me either. Was keeping fingers crossed that it would come prior to the family xmas trip to NC but 1.0 was still good on freeways
