No. our company has our own maintenance garage that has the software for updates. We did them all until is said there wasn't any to install.
Correct. Same boat the others that FDRS’d to 1.2 got. Everything except the UI to start making 1.3 work. That’s a bit more of a process, but not much.

You can update the config files in Forscan yourself to get BC 1.X. I've had it for quite a while now. I wonder if doing the FDRS updates is going to stop me getting BC 1.3 by Ford. I'm assuming these are a complete set of new updates to the modules and they're just not in FDRS yet. Ford has done that in the past, where they're sending something out OTA and you cannot do it in FDRS yet.
I was about to go the ForScan route but then OTA started to rollout, so I decided to wait.

Why would 1 pedal driving be deactivated when there is a camera fault. It does not use the camera as far as I can tell. I still need the brake pedal if I approach a stopped car and release the go pedal a bit too late, and will stop to early if I start too early. These are things I would expect a camera might be able to adjust automatically.
You may have a good point here.
When it happened with my Lightning, I lost BC, 1PD, Lanekeeping and ACC.
This is a Mach E. Different vehicles and maybe they behave differently.

Had my '21 Job 2 (52K miles) in the shop last week since I was getting a front camera faults almost continuously. I was expecting that they'd have to replace the coax cable and maybe some other things, but they ended up just updating a bunch of modules, including IPMA. Shop manager said it spent 9 hours on the computer getting updates. Made the purchase of the extended warranty worthwhile finally. No errors since the updates, so maybe I'll see the BC 1.3 update come over the air soon now (I'm on 6.14 since June). I did get the offer to extend BC for a year at $0 and I took them up on it. I like BC 1.0, and will use BC 1.3 - but pretty sure I won't pay $500/year for it when my 1 year extension expires next November.

My wife just got a '24 Lyriq (crazy cheap lease deals right now) and I've been using SuperCruise on that a bit. Automatic lane changes (one step beyond BC 1.3) are pretty nice. I thought it was a just a gimmick, but after using it, I've changed my mind. Maybe I'll get to see that on the Mach-e before my year expires.

I have the BC 1.4Beta version for almost a year. It does lane changes also. But…Ford says the 1.3 is better than the Beta version. I want to see and feel how better it is. Waiting for the update.

The Ford system (1.3) still requires tapping on the turn indicator stalk. 1.5 (If I understand correctly) will not even require tapping on the turn indicator. The current GM SuperCruise doesn't require any tapping, it just does the change (say from middle to left lane) and once the slow vehicle is passed, it changes back to the middle lane again with no user intervention (other than notices/graphics showing up on the display). Note that I have driven thousands of miles with current BC 1.0 and only maybe 50 miles with the GM system, so my experience with that system is obviously very limited.

I understand and you are right. You have to initiate the lane change by pushing on the stalk for BC. We will like to hear more about the Cruise system on the Lyriq.
Tonight is the night for the 1.3 BC update. I hope 140 minutes from now the update take hold.

Impossible. Several forum members have posted many times with conviction that 21’s will never receive an update again.

Clearly AI propaganda!

Congratulations people, hopefully it’s a fast rollout.
I have a 21 and received this update last night

FYI, I just had our garage do all the updates for my GT 2021 and I still don't have BC 1.3. There was a sync 4a update that needed to do the USB memory stick update but after doing the whole list, still no BC 1.3

I am guessing there is a config file that only comes OTA. So my wait continues.
Technically, you would in fact have BC 1.3 if there are no updates left to install. The improved Adaptive Cruise portion, Lane Centering portion, as well as predictive speed and stability would all be active.

You just wouldn't have the toggle in Sync to enable the new feature(s)

(Lane Change and Lane Bias)

Just make the 2 or 3 Asbuilt edits in APIM and IPMA and you have the new features as well.

I have a Hummer and it is fully automatic for lane changes, also works on 2 lane highways and interchanges. SuperCruise is way better than BlueCruise. Many more miles of mapped highways.
