I have the Tesla Universal and it’s been good. I do wish you could more easily change the voltage. Logic was the next car might have a different port and now I could charge anything EV.
Do you mean amperage? The voltage is going to be whatever your utility provides.

No problems with our Autel Maxicharger set at 48 amps. The app lets you track your usage and much more.

Just looking for opinions on this forum, based on experience. Thanks for the reply.
So when someone does reviews, measuring specific criteria, comparing models on the specific features, you value subjective views by people who likely have had one charger only? Seems backwards to me.

Unless you need an intelligent charger, the Grizzl-E is the choice.

I love both of my JuiceBox 40s. They have never let me down in the past 4-5 years.
JuiceBox app functionality was never good, got worse. I also have two, on one circuit, and load balancing broke over a year ago and never was fixed.
JuiceBox closed in the US. No support, no warranty.
JuiceBox app still works because company agreed to keep it going while they sold (which they have). New owner has been silent as to their plans.

Nobody should consider buying a JuiceBox charger.

I have not had any issues with my Autel charger.
I second this. Two years and going strong, mounted inside my garage but I usually charge outside. I have the smart version of the Autel charger. My local electric utility paid for most of it. Cable is a bit stiff in the winter (I have the original version but I believe the cable has been updated on the newer models). Tom (State of Charge) was able to break the connecter by dropping it. Other than those online criticisms, I personally have not had any issues. Mine is a NEMA 1450 version plugged into a dedicated 50 AMP circuit. I have it dialed down to 32 AMPS for charging. This easily gives me an overnight 90% charge. It is 26 degrees this AM. The cable is manageable but not great.

Amperage, yes. You can change it on the Tesla but you basically have to reset up the device each time through the installer application.

Hello, all - we live in British Columbia, in an area where winters get chilly but not overly so. Researching home chargers (hardwired, will be outdoor as we have no garage), and I feel like it's narrowed down to Charge Point and Grizzl E Ultimate (48A). I would appreciate input - and for a little more context, budget is a consideration.

We've done the research in terms of reading lots of reviews and watching lots of videos, but we would like to get opinions from actual Mach E owners based on their experience. Thanks, everyone.
I’ve had a Charge Point for nearly three years with daily charging. It has worked perfectly with no issues or problems. Seems very well made with no signs of wear.

This is very subjective. Look for reviews by State of Charge on YouTube.

Here is the latest one.
Thats the point I was trying to make. Not sure if you can even buy a JuiceBox in NOAM anymore.

It's about finding out as much as you can - written reviews and videos are valuable (and I had read and watched them all before opening this thread), but actual, long-term experience from Mach E owners is another layer of data that one cannot access through reviews and videos. Only when one considers all of the above does one arrive at a better conclusion.

I will not buy any vehicle charger that requires an online account. Fuel should not require internet access!

I don’t think any of them require an online account. Only if you are interested in getting telemetry about your charging sessions.
