This was on a '23 model. and apparently the techs at my dealrship were told that since my car had the latest HVJB there is already, that it might have been a software problem and to do a BECM reset first, and if the problem came back then to proceed with normal diagnostics per the workshop manual. So they did that, and the problem hasn't returned. Yet. It's been nearly a year since they reset the BECM counter.
Different versions for different trims. Think the latest on mine is an E? I am on a CRM right now no problems for over a year it has been running great. A quick little scooter that fills up at home. Here is to not worrying about things you can not change. Have not changed my driving style at all as we own it. Hoping the reset holds (it has) and they have fixed the cause.

Best of the season to you; to all. Stay frosty.

I wanted to revisit this thread...simply to let folks know that after getting the BECM Counter reset when I had that P0ADA code (back on the 12th of Jan this year), that I haven't had a SSN since. Zero issues.
How did you achieve resetting the BECM Counter? I get get the code to reset. Came on about 2 weeks ago. Lack of power and DCFC maxed out at 46kw. My issue is I’m over 100k on a 22 Premium 4X built 8/22 so I’m outside of the recall/tsb. Do you think Ford will take care of it outside of warranty when it’s not included in recall? Even though I’ve seen many other MMEs have this issue with later build dates, but of course under warranty.

Isn't your powertrain warranty longer than the bumper-to-bumper? This is a powertrain code.

My dealership did the BECM counter reset....but I have FDRS so I could do it myself. I don't know if FORSCAN has the ability to reset the BECM counter..I haven't looked when I was using it.

Check your charge port or cord connector to make sure there isn't any water in it. That's what P2C85 indicates.

B1533 is a fault with one of your low beam headlights staying on.

I only tried with the car scanner app. Cleared other codes but not this one. Battery and Motor warranty expired at 100k. Of course this issue hit at 102k. Ford said my VIN isn’t included in the recall and outside of warranty.

Resetting the BECM counter takes 5 minutes.

Connect up with the laptop and the car in accessory mode. Open FDRS and after clearing any DTCs select the BECM module and then click the button to download and reset the BECM counter and run that. They could do it in the parking lot. If the DTC doesn't return you're good to go.

I have an issue with HVBJB on my car. It shows P0ADA error. My car absolutely meets the requirements (2021 production year) but dealership says this recall is not suitable for your car as its not displayed on recall list of your vehicle by VIN. How can i apply for this recall?

Failed HVBJB is covered for 8 years / 100,000 miles. Are you over on miles?

They say you need to get customer letter where it says, this recall covers this car either. After that we can fix it
That's ridiculous, and wrong. Where are you located?

In Azerbaijan, Baku 🇦🇿, but the car was imported from U.S. Dealer refers to the information from ford.com by my VIN. It shows that i have 4 recalls (3 of them were done in U.S before importing. But the main recall 23S56 (HVBJB recall) is not on the list. Despite the fact that issue is existing. Very strange situation.

It is quite simple - what is the warranty on that imported vehicle?

The HVBJB may have already been replaced, hence the recall would not show. But the recall is irrelevant, at least in the US. The failure is part of the high voltage battery and related components, is covered for 8 years / 100,000 miles. The dealership should do the Ford-required diagnosis, then replaced the affected components, all under warranty.

I have no idea of the coverage in your situation.
