I think Ford is unlikely to change its mind about taking your money for something that costs them almost nothing. Of course, stranger things have happened...

Hello all! I've been watching many threads on this forum for quite some time(thank you all for your contributions - they have helped me.) and have something to add to this discussion. Recently returned my leases 22 Mach E GT performance and leased a 24 Mach E GT without performance upgrade. Had the same scenario. What I did notice is that when I logged into the ford web site I still had the availability to add the performance upgrade through the web site. It was there. I have a ticket in with the Fordpass group.

We don’t know yet. We haven’t upgraded. Plus, you really need summer tires to get the full effect. I spin my front wheels on winter tires every time I floor it ?.

Besides, I already accumulated 5 tickets on a premium in Chicago. Johnson has a tab open for me at city hall. And the moron is adding more cameras!

My 22 was a Premium ER AWD. None of the pre-24s had an upgrade available to them. They had a GTPE version. There’s a thread about the difference between the 24s w/ upgrade and the pre-24 GTPE. I think the conclusion was that it’s a big improvement in performance.

In my case the ‘24 was a minor low end performance increase. The real performance increase is due to the abolishment of the 5 second limit (it’s a much longer performance limiter). ??

Just got a notification for the upgrade. Probably related to it disappearing from being offered for a little bit there.

Mine came with the performance upgrade however had it not, I wouldn't have gotten it. I feel $1000 for 66 ft lbs of torque isn't worth it. As Steve said, the 5 second limit was extended and that is the real performance gain. There is barely a bit more push with the extra torque.
