Just arrived. Haven’t seen a thread on this variant yet. I don’t think I ever received any of the other ECG-24 gateway updates. Appears that Ford may be issuing different variants to different cars. I’ve got a 21 FE.

I have BC1.3 but I still haven’t received any of the 10.x updates (karaoke and slider updates - meh).

I am so in the same update state as you.

I hope so. I had been waiting for BC 1.3 and reached out to Ford about why I still haven't gotten it. They checked my VIN and told me my car has DTCs (diagnostic trouble codes) that are preventing it from updating and I need to take the car to the dealer to get them investigated and cleared first to unblock the BC 1.3 update. I haven't been able to get in for service yet since learning that, but I did get this GWM update yesterday. So it would seem independent and installable out of sequence with the version numbered updates.

EDIT: The theory about the DTCs blocking 10.1.0 seems to have been incorrect. It seems that the gateway module update unblocked 10.1.0, and it installed for me on 1/1/2025!
I now have BlueCruise 1.3 and Public Charging app usable while driving.

I thought public charging was deployed a long time ago? I’ve had it for months (no karaoke fortunately, but no enhanced B&O controls either).

If you’re just now getting BC 1.3 and its next in sequence update you still can’t use the public charging app while driving unless you’ve had a subsequent update. That will come soon™.

I can no longer remotely start the climate control in my car since receiving this update. I tried it three different times today and got a failed message in FordPass each time. I haven’t tried setting up a scheduled departure time since receiving this update yet. That’ll happen Saturday morning.

It’s not a big deal temperature wise as our winters are brutally mild here but it shouldn’t be failing.

I got this gateway module update two days ago. My car didn’t charge last night. When I got up this morning FordPass said waiting to charge at 11 PM Thursday (yesterday). Which would be the normal scheduled time, but it’s now 5 am Friday.

My phone also updated to iOS 18.2.1 last evening so I don’t know if it’s related.

I walked out to the car and it started doing my morning departure time (preparing battery and cabin for departure) message in FordPass. I turned off the departure time in FP and the car started charging. Thankfully I’m working from home today so no harm.
