23.5 checking in - received ECG-24.2.4.10.2 today. Last update received prior to this was BC1.3 in the middle of July. Had one instance of the car not responding to the door open buttons probably about a month ago. It eventually let me in after maybe 10-20 seconds, so not a complete lockout.

I just did the update.

I was unsure and continue to have automatic updates off due to a past bad experience. So long as my car drives fine I don't feel a burning need to have the latest firmware.

Anyway, the update seemed to go fine on my 2023 AWD Extended. Only thing I noticed was the need to reset the clock back to auto.

Received ECG-24.2.4.10.2 on Aug 30th for our 2023.5. Only problem so far is the lock button on the exterior of the car doesn't lock as reliably as before the update. Press it and nothing happens half of the time. The walk away lock seems to work ok though.

If you got this update, then it should be safe to remove that.

Jerry, I received this update early Wednesday morning. I removed the emergency lockout string release. I think we’re good to go Jerry.

I want this update before I have to start parking my car in The Big City for swim meets! I called Ford and got about as much help with that as you can imagine. All these commenters saying they have gotten it is giving me hope. I don’t love the option of taking it to the dealership just for an OTA. I have Rivian driving friends who just about died laughing at the string and tape on my door. ??‍

Just received ECG-24.2.4.10.2 yesterday for my 2023 job 1 premium. I got the ECG-24.2.4.10 OTA on August 30th.

Didn't see anyone mention it, but I noticed SYNC feels a bit more snappy after the .2 update! Also, the delay I saw with opening the doors seems to be gone.
