I can never get that GD charge door to stay closed on the first try! Very frustrating. ?

Anyone swap out their pre 2023.5 charge port door with the dimpled one?

if you close it with your palm over the large surface area, it almost always closes first try, using just a finger, not so much

Hey! Noob here. I have a 3-week-old 2024 AWD ER and was recently notified of the ECG-24.2.4.10 update. Like every other piece of tech I have, automatic updates are off. Super generic info on the update. Is there any way to see the details without being a Ford tech?

Believe it or not, these are actually more informative than they used to be… the only way to really know what’s going on with the vague updates is to pay attention to the forum

there were some posts early in the thread about it but this OTA fixes a lockout issue that impacted 23-24s

A couple of weeks ago someone initiated a survey to try to get some data about who has gotten the mysterious lockout, but few readers participated and the thread faded away.

Just received the OTA update overnight - a week after getting BC 1.3.

it certainly did get quiet. I am going with the statements that this update fixes the module communication error that seems to have been the cause of the lockouts. The string is coming off my passenger side door today. But I’ll knock on wood first…?.
