Higher sales in January this year compared to last year was because the incentives were really bad back then plus people this year were trying to buy it before the prices went up with the new presidency. I remembered last year the tax credit ended in 2023 and Ford didn't do anything in early January to make up for it.

IMO, the 2024/2025 Mach-E is by far the best EV wagon on the market. Ford continues to work hard to get this car fully dialed in. There's no other EV that I'd even consider buying right now. Anyone buying a 2024 or 2025 is in for a real treat.

It's interesting that there's always explanations for why folks must have purchased a Mach-E and it's rarely for the reason most people buy other vehicles they bought.

Instead, It's explained as a result of the government, or politics, or incentives........ But rarely for the reason I have one? Or the same reason I have every vehicle I own?

I saw it. And I was enamored enough with what I saw, in a brief amount of time, that I actually impulse purchased it. Surely some percentage of those January 2025 3500 new Mach-E owners would say they bought it because it was an appealing automobile? Surely some folks are grinning like Cheshire cats today on the way to the office. ?

The new Cadillac OPTIQ looks pretty nice I haven't seen on person yet, but the webpage pictures and features look really nice. Its more luxury and has 302 Miles of range. I have to go see it in person.

The Ioniq 5 N is the only other thing on my radar at all right now. But there are a few little things keeping me from going ahead with that idea - though I'd still really like to drive one.
Have they fixed the 1 pedal issue where you have to constantly re-engage it?

The Mach-E seems to be doing well for Ford yet I still really don't see many of them on the NH coast. I'd love to know how many Mach-E's are on the roads in each state (per capita to account for differences in population size). The MME is hardly new but I still get head turns and looks of "what kind of car is that?".

Though it recently occurred to me that the false grille decal I have on the front of mine covers up the pony further obscuring what the car is. NOTE: I'm not trying to fool people into thinking I have a GT; just really hated the dead bug build up in the summer. The black decal significantly deemphasizes the bugs :) .

No idea. Haven't dug too deep into it, honestly. But that would absolutely be annoying if something like that isn't fixed.

Doesn’t seem like much of a stretch that 0% interest and a cheaper price causes a vehicle to sell better. Unless you just always have enough money to buy any vehicle you want.

You like 2 vehicles, one is 0% interest the other is 6%. Why would you buy the 6%?

I am seeing a lot more in upper Midwest the past half year.

As discussed elsewhere on this forum, the production numbers only include production destined to the USA. There doesn’t seem to be any reporting of the total production at Cuautitlan. For example, the 10,000 MachEs sold in Canada in 2024 were also produced there.

Of the EVs that check the vital boxes for me (price, AWD, functional form factor) I absolutely chose the Mach E because it's really friggin cool. I love the styling of it. I loved test driving it. It comes in cool colors. I think it's the best-looking EV.
