That sounds fishy to me. Did the order actually get submitted to Ford? Check for an email from Ford, maybe in your spam folder, it could be a text message also. I would be suspicious that the dealer is sitting on your order and has not submitted it to Ford if you don't have a build week assigned yet after almost 3 weeks.

I did get an email from Ford confirming the order

Apparently, there was a stoppage or something, because my "In Production" date now shows 2/19 instead of 1/23. Maybe they were short something and the cars now have to go back through the line to get them fitted?

Sorry to hear that. I feel for you. In 2011 my wife got laid off after close to 33 years at a national company that downsized their office staff. She found a new job pretty quick and worked there 13 years until she retired last year. Are you close to retirement age?

So glad she found something quick. Nope I’m 53

I think it shows up when the build is "sent to plant", not sure. The process is changed since my last Ford order in 2020.

Were thinking about ordering a 25 GT. At what point during the year do they usually start running financing promotions? Also, I have a private offer from Ford that says if I order or purchase by 3/31 I'll get an additional $1250 off. So, do I need to give that offer code to my dealer when I have him place the order?
