2022 MachE GT Performance with bent strut

Bought used, <14,000 miles. Didn’t notice the awful clunking nose from the front until a month later; mostly on tight turns. Of note, bought it in October, noted issue in late November. Took it to a local dealer, they diagnosed a bent front strut. Not covered under the warranty, also rubbing the inner surface of the right front tire. Part on back Oder ( strut mount). In be end of Jan. Then end of Feb. Now *maybe* late March. Called all over, finally thought we found the part in Florida.. nope. On back order.

so, my question is, what is going on with the struts on this car that there are NO parts available???

a quick search on ebay shows numerous ones available...including ful assemblies if that makes it easier..

Could be, but I prefer new

That used part comes off a car that is very similar in miles of the one you are replacing.

If you purchase new, I would advise getting both passenger and driver side replaced.
