So I just chatted with Ford and they see my order, but it's not listed in my "Orders and Reservations" and I didn't receive any email from Ford. I asked the agent about this and asked if they could confirm that the order is placed under my name and email address associated with my Ford account, and they said to call my dealer for that. Sounds like they just placed a sock order and not a custom order. I have a special Ford cash offer that says I need to take delivery or place a "Custom" order by 3/31.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I'm in the same boat. I haven't been getting update emails either. If you have your order # and VIN you can still look up the status of the order.

Right. I'm just concerned about my special cash offer from Ford not being applied. I guess I won't really know if it was really custom ordered for me until the window sticker is available and see if it's green or blue.

If the dealership specified any of the options, then it’s a “custom” order. They may not have assigned it to you specifically. Best to contact the dealership and ask for the order details. You will be able to track the order once it’s assigned a production week and issued a VIN. Dealership will need to give you the order code to use along with the VIN to track the status.

Did they write up the deal for you and quote you a price, including your Ford cash offer? They should have and should have had you place a deposit. That’s Ford policy to do that.

mine did not require a deposit either. I do all my cars through a fleet manager at a local dealer. The order wasn’t tied to my ford account either but I had him email me the VIN/Order #

Mine got pushed a week too, but actually moved to in production during the original scheduled week, so maybe they're just pushing expectations?

I've found that the actual API call that loads order information has more details than what is displayed on the page, for example the "currentBuildDate".
There might be more information for the builds that are done and at the next stage too.
To view this, go to the main tracking page (https://www.ford.com/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking) on a desktop computer, open developer tools (F12), then go to the Network tab, make sure Preserve Log is checked, then enter the order number and VIN and click the track button. When the page loads there will be an entry for "tracking-data..." click on that and go to the Response tab, then you'll see this at the very bottom.

Did I mention that I'm anxious to get my new car?

Who knew back when Pioneer 898 started this thread with a benign proposition and a basic spreadsheet to follow our orders, that we would need to strap in and hold on tight. Our plans for a new MME seemed to hang by a literal thread with each days headlines.Our vehicles have been held hostage to an improbable and senseless trade war and while some have escaped many remain behind. It’s not certain what the future will bring. My hope is this story ends with each and every order placed being fulfilled and delivered to all of us. We can complete this journey with photos of all our new 2025 MMEs safely in their new homes!

Ordered Mach-e Premium ext bat. 3/8/25. Immediately got the confirmation email from ford. My dealer listed it as a custom order and gave me a priority 10 order code. No deposit.

I put down a deposit on a dealer order on Feb 13. At the time the dealer said the MME was already built. Since then, the dealer said the MME made it to Texas on 2/26 and has been sitting in Dallas since. Has anyone heard if their MME has made it out of Texas?

The F12 key says the MME is in transit while the below screen still says it’s in production. Has anyone had their car progress to the “built” stage on the below screen from Ford.com?

I wonder if the 2025 MME’s are still waiting for OKTB.

I ordered a 2025 back in November with a build date of 2/17. The dealership said the eta of my car is 3/11. Whats the over/under of me being disappointed?

The dealership probably didn’t include your email on the order. There’s a place to include the customer’s email when they are submitting the order.
