Not sure about "misrepresented" but there's also no washer for the front camera. You'll see the little cutout/popout spot for it, but there's nothing there but a filler.
Ford did not shutoff parking assist. It was removed from 2023 forward first due to chip shortage, then discontinued in all Ford's going forward.
I don't know what else you would call it other than misrepresenting when the liftgate and parking assist are on the screen, labels and , yes, my wife downloaded and printed the entire user manual which tells you how to use both of them... You aren't a dick either... lol
I highly disagree regarding the kick-to-open. It's worked 100% of the time on my 2021 Job 1, as long as my phone or fob are with me. In fact, when it stopped working after an FDRS update, my wife was super upset (so was I, really). Fortunately, a quick reset from Forscan fixed it. But yes, parking assist isn't particularly useful.
I agree, after my liftgate opened unexpectedly several times, hitting the garage door opening once, I turned off that feature. I never actually tried the parking assist, I learned how to park many years ago and that is easier than having the car try to do it for me. YMMV

Yeah, that works if the garage door is open but not when it's closed (or you back in - we have a narrow walking path between the back of the car and the wall and it's knocked me over a few times opening uncommanded)Having it open uncommanded is bad, but you can set the opening height of the trunk - in case someone opens it on purpose in the garage
Yes I have the opening height set but the garage doorway is lower than it is set. If I had it set low enough to not hit the garage doorway top, it would be too low when normally opened. If I'm washing the car in the driveway and I drag the hose under the back of the car, the door can open, which it has several times.Having it open uncommanded is bad, but you can set the opening height of the trunk - in case someone opens it on purpose in the garage
Huh, I'll have to specifically try that; my hose comes from the front of the car, so I don't tend to go underneath the rear with the hose. Only issue I've had with washing the car is the locking/unlocking of doors, but that's to be expected.
You wouldn’t have gotten those things with a 24 or 25 either. And they’re mostly useless - especially the parking assist. What you did likely get is a screaming deal on a 23 instead of paying new car pricing for stale tech in a 24 or 25. So be happy - you did good!
