I have the same thing on my account (after selecting the zero dollar renewal a few months ago), yet I received an email from Ford this week saying I'm about to lose BC, I need to renew.

Has anybody done the zero renewal, and got the you need to renew email, and kept BC past the original expiration date?

I have about a month left and no idea if I'll actually have it for the year past that based on the email.

The email is automated, I had renewed, still got all the emails, but my subscription is active. Take the free year!

Heads up if you want to renew for a month. It defaults to auto renewal. Just got off the phone with Ford. They told me to cancel the service and that would knock off autonrenewal. There’s no other way to do it apparently.

I am in middle of year of $0 cost. BC has only worked sporadically for me as the PA turnpike is only partially mapped. It goes on and off every 2 or3 miles. It’s nice when it works but I would never pay for it when it is so sporadic.

No changes. Ford provided some free extensions, discounted renewals over the years. Currently I’m on the 3 year renewal, with next renewal at $250 a year.

So next week I'm taking my first trip west on the PA TPK (Harrisburg to PIttsburgh) and the Ford website says it's 87% covered...maybe the tunnels aren't? It looks pretty good on the Ford website. What is your experience on that portion, if you've been there? Thanks.

I have not made that trip. I drive from Cranberry Township to Monroeville for work 5 days a week. The BC tends to go out at the exchanges (even though it is ez-pass 55 mph drive through) and S curves. It has seemed to cover more area than previously. It's pretty cool when it works. I get a little nervous passing 16 wheelers because I tend to stay more to the left of the lane and the BC tends to keep you more to the middle/right side of the lane.

Ok thanks. I have used BC on just about the entire eastern portion of the Turnpike and it works well. I hope it goes well, it's twisty through the mountains.
