It's all in the fine print... although I placed my order back in November, the Ford Power Promise has always clearly stated that you need to take delivery of a car from a dealer's stock by a certain deadline. When I was first looking, the opt-out cash back for Power Promise was $2,000. By the time I get the car, it will be $500. I knew it was a gamble at the time.

For only $500 it might be better to get the charger and installation or just sell the charger.

Edit: If this works out and my dealer keeps their promise on the under MSRP price they quoted plus Ford holding to the invoice/Window sticker price, I'm definitely just taking the charger which I'll install and sell the Apex Mach 2 charger I'm currently using.

Depends on the incentives. Some apply based on if they were active when you ordered and some do not. The Power Promise and Tesla Competitive are dependent on when you take delivery. I'm hopeful on both of those being fine for us as they apply to 2025 model year in their stipulations. In addition to the charger or $1000 off, the Power Promise also includes the 0% for 72 financing. ...It's weird they just updated the Tesla incentive to only be good through April 2nd. They extended it by 2 days. That does not bode well for that one. But I think for most of us the Power Promise is the big one as it's the charger or rebate along with the 0%.
Given that Polestar recently announced a $5000 Tesla conquest bonus, hopefully Ford will continue theirs to match up.

I'm pretty sure the 0% is not tied to the Power Promise, and only applies to 2024 models.
It says 2024 or 2025 model year in the program terms... It seems the only part of the program that is specific to 2024's is the $2500 bonus cash. That said, the program expired yesterday and Ford has not published an update or announced an extension. And no 2025 vehicles that would qualify (MME, Lightning..) have been delivered yet. There are conflicting rumors circulating online about it being extended, so I'll wait to see what Ford actually announces officially, if anything. I have a hunch they're waiting on tariff confirmation tomorrow before they do anything, which is why the Tesla incentive was only extended to tomorrow.

That's not how it reads to me or the half a dozen or more Dealers I've been in contact with.

Yeah, if our Mach-E purchase falls apart for whatever reason, our backup plan is to lease a Polestar 3. It's a more expensive car, but quite a few in inventory that should avoid tariffs and with $22K in incentives after state tax credits here, it's looking pretty tempting. If they keep up the incentives and our MME deliver slips into June/July, I may really start to consider a Polestar 4 anyway as they should start becoming available about then. It's more money, but I'm really liking it. Would want to take one for a drive. They did have one for a bit in the local showroom, but all we could do is look and not touch. Not sure if it's still there or if they have test drives yet.

Still irrelevant until they update or extend it since it's expired... BUT, straight out of the program details in my Ford Financial account pasted below. And I see nothing that restricts any of it to 2024 models, other than the web pricing online does not list any of the retail cash for '25 models.. All irrelevant though since no 2025's have been available to deliver. E-Transit gets $2000 bonus cash, $2500 on Mach-E, Lightning varies by model with $5000 on the '24 Platinum. The Platinum is not eligible for the $1000 charger rebate as they are currently including the Charge Station Pro & basic install with the Platinum regardless.

I think my backup plan is a Lyriq. If tariffs raise my $60k Mach E GT to $70k, I'll buy a car that's actually got a $70k feature set.

My backup plan is to drive my GT another year and get a Rivian R2, but I am open to other options. I did see a Polestar at a charger on Saturday, it looked nice.

Yeah, I'm kind of in the same boat. If I get nailed with tariffs and there are other cars in the post-tariff price range with better feature sets, I'd probably go that way too. I'm hoping that I'm at least locked in to the sticker price based on my deposit and the window sticker and only lose out on discounts/incentives in the worst case.

My dealer told me today my car is across the border but I don't know when that happened. I'd feel better about it if it was a couple days ago because it's when it clears customs not when it physically crosses the border. I would imagine that with Ford's operation it would happen same day but I've heard it can take a few days in some cases. You never know. My backup plan is another hybrid CRV. We love ours and I can go to my dealer literally tomorrow if I had to and get a '25 off the lot. It would really piss me off though because I have been looking forward to switching to an EV for a long time.

Is anybody else having issues with the ford tracking website? It says my order number and VIN don’t match every time I enter them.
That's been happening off and on for me the past couple days... Give it a bit, clear your cache and try again. But then again, it just says my car is in production even though it had all the shipping rail shipping and received notices over the past week or so. Still says the last status is "received".

Mine shows "Produced" as of today (4/01) with the same "Build" and "Build Verification" date, but the #4 bubble for 'Built' is not filled in yet and bubble #3 "In Production" still showing. Shows a shipping ETA of 05/12/2025 - 05/18/2025 and (Code 32) whatever that means. That sure is slow shipping.

Today's press release says "Mustang Mach-E is off to a record start on sales of 11,607 electric SUVs, despite limited inventory. The 2025 model year Mustang Mach-E SUVs are now in transit and will make their way to dealer lots in April."

Fingers crossed it's earlier than later April. :)
