If at a Tesla site with a v4 dispenser do you still have to take up two spots?

No, but I hope you don't have the same issue I had on my last road trip in CA>OR. None of the V4 stations (3!) were allowing the Magic Dock to release! I have an adapter so it was a non-issue but for unsuspecting people I'm sure it was frustrating. I've used it before a few months back in SoCal so I know how to release it btw...
Good to know since I am headed up to WA in a couple of weeks. Should not be an issue since I have an adapter. ??

I always hate it when a Tesla takes up 2 Mach-E charge spots. ;) Think about it.

Just waiting for the v4's up the road from me to open - seems they are waiting on the paving company to finish it up.

I've also noticed a few v3 charging spots with one or two chargers at the "end" of each row facing 90 degrees to the main row. Makes it really nice & easy to pull right in and charge, even if my butt sticks out a bit

@hack-e no joke! The day I took this pic there was two Mach-Es and a Model 3. Outnumbered 2:1

You can park three different ways depending on the orientation of the V4 charger and all three use the parking space for that charger.

Charger perpendicular to the parking spot. Can only pull in straight.

Charger parallel to the parking spot. Can pull in straight or back in.

I have had the Ford supplied adapter for a very long time. I haven’t needed to use it until possibly tomorrow.

I can charge at the Buc-eees in Ft Valley Georgia at either the Mercedes branded ChargePoint station or the Tesla station that just opened 28 new stalls.

Pricing wise the Tesla station is a few cents cheaper. But my wife is against charging there if we have to take up two spots, the reason for the question.
So your wife is against charging at a Tesla location exactly as Tesla tells you to?

Yes.

If just asking about taking up two spots was potentially a humanity ending question…..
We stopped on the way to/from Florida at a Buc-ee's. There were 4 non-Tesla's charging, using 7 spaces, because one was in the right end space. Total non-issue.

I took up the Tesla handicap charger space recently. The Tesla sign said to use last. Since it was the last space available so we did.

We had to use two spots at another charger location as well. Funny thing was there a charger at that one that would have worked with a single space. Unfortunately, there was a woman sitting in her Tesla angled across two spaces at the next charger blocking the space for no reason.
