Probably similar to our Raptor’s stalk. And yes, its easy to inadvertently trigger something you weren’t intending to turn on.
I hate it when I'm walking down the street just inadvertently turning on people I wasn't intending to turn on. ?

Is the stalk on the Select different? My ‘25 premium just has wipers on the left stalk. Lights are on a knob down near my left knee. Or am I misunderstanding the concern over the stalk? There is multiple things on it with front and rear wiper, but it isn’t wipers AND lights. There’s a nice button on the end for a quick wipe of the front wipers which is nice.

The headlight dial had always been down by the driver's left knee.

Curious, how to you activate the rear windshield sprayer?

Check the model year listed on your window sticker.

I’m not sure, but I suspect you twist the inner ring down.

I’m pretty sure Ford is using this for their control designs (since everyone whined about “more buttons!”):

That’s what I thought, so what is different than the previous model years? People are saying there’s “too much” on the stalk but one stalk for both front and rear wiper seems fine to me?

2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E GTPE
Today, I stopped by my Ford dealer for state inspection and, while there, asked if they had gotten any 2025 Mustang Mach Es in yet. They JUST received their first one - a Select. I asked if I could see the frunk.

As has been reported, the frunk is significantly smaller. The traditional frunk is between 14” and 15” from the bottom to the top lip of the tub. The new frunk is, perhaps 6” deep. It’s also not as wide or as long. You are no longer going to be able to fit 3-4 bags of groceries. Frankly, you will not fit any bags of groceries in the mini-frunk. If I upgrade my car (and they were pushing HARD for me to upgrade, on the spot, showing me the GTs they have coming in), the loss of the frunk will be a huge negative. To be honest, I’m not sure what value the mini-frunk offers. Maybe you can toss smelly workout clothes or sneakers in there? Not much else though.

Other very quick thoughts:
- The updated IP graphics are very nice. I didn’t see any significant graphics updates on the Sync screen.
- The new super-mega-multi-stalk (or whatever it’s called) will take getting used to. It has inner rings that twist and turn, the outer end twists and turns - I’m sure I’d be blinding people with the high beams every time I go to wash the windshield. By comparison, the gear selector lever looks barren. Maybe it has hidden abilities Ford will unlock later.
- The fob does indeed have a frunk button now! (Of course, that functionality is pretty useless!)
Thanks for all the great information! I love the space in my frunk, and it comes quite handy. Just the past two days I’ve stuck a smelly dominos pizza in it to drive back home, and it worked as advertised. Usually I have a lingering smell in my car for a couple of days, even if I stick it in the trunk of my Subaru legacy. Also, picked up my son and daughter today and put their back packs and lunch boxes in the frunk, used the trunk to go pick up a load of groceries. If I had any complaint, is that it doesn’t auto close and that it’s so frikkin tough to push shut. But I guess that’s good because it means it’s sturdy lol

I don’t use the frunk in my Tesla and I wouldn’t have used the frunk in my upcoming 25 MME even if it was bigger. I put the charge cord in there and a jump pack and never touch it. If it was powered maybe, but I don’t like pushing down on dirty paint and leaving handprints etc. Also the Tesla hood feels extremely flimsy like it will dent if you push too hard to close it ?.

In contrast we use the frunk in our Lightning a ton because it’s actually large enough to be very useful and it’s powered.
The Mach E frunk hood is a tank in comparison to the tinfoil frunk hood of the Tesla Model 3 (the only one I've used). And you simply drop it to close it. The Tesla M3 hood on the other hand will not close without slamming it and always feels like it's going to fall off. And that frunk is also tiny. Sad that Ford has decided to make the Mach E's frunk similarly tiny.

I'm surprised by this. I find if I let go of the hood about 12-18" high it always fully latches closed.

My frunk doesn't latch if I just let it drop. It needs a forceful two-handed downward push. I don't necessarily mind having to do that considering it is solid feeling. I've tried adjusting the rubber bumpers, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.
