Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Mach-E concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.
So let me get this straight, @Ford Motor Company immediately replies to a Mach E owner who didn't want his frunk to open but it did, but won't respond to the thousands of posts of Mach E owners who want their frunk to open remotely but can't?! šŸ™ƒšŸ¤”

I tried to recreate the same thing this morning. Did everything exactly as I did yesterday. Didn't happen.
I believe I was the first one to report the frunk opening on its own. Since then, I am yet to have it happen again. Don't worry, you're not crazy! Hopefully your experience is the same as mine and it never happens again.

The oddest thing happened this morning...

Before I left the house this morning, I remote-started the car. Went out to the garage, got in, drove to work, and everything was normal. I get to work, park, shut the car down, and ("thunk, thunk") the frunk opens all by itself! What the heck?! Has anyone else ever had this happen?
I once had it pop open on me when i was driving. Drove 15 miles and then it popped. good thing it was a 2 pull latch system. never happend again.

Do you have Alexa installed? Did you say something or perhaps a radio was saying something before that happened?

Even earlier cars without electric latches have experienced the hood opening. That's why in the mid-fifties they mandated to have a safety latch. Normally it's because it wasn't fully latched the previous time it was entered. They have to have pressure buffers to prevent rattles.
If you have never experienced the hood coming up at road speed, you haven't lived. You have to quickly drop your head and look under it to be able to stop. It does a lot of body damage. I've experienced it twice. Also, why we put pin locks on race cars.

Yep. I’ll add another. It happened to me a few weeks ago too. It was my frunk and trunk that opened opened just after parking. Luckily at home. No I didn’t trigger it in any way. I wouldn’t even know how to get both at the same time. Would love to understand why it’s happening to all of us though.
