My wait is over! After placing an order that was stuck in processing for months with no build date, to reserving a delear stock that was originally supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago but has now been pushed back to mid-June. We took a 3 hour round trip to pick up a 25 Molten Magenta premium, AWD, ext battery, with panoramic roof and sport package! So happy with my choice. The color is amazing and it is soo fun to drive. This one was produced end of March and was sent straight to the dealership.

That's definitely a color that looks completely different in every picture. I really wanna see it in person.

It really is. I describe is a really deep Merlot that looks more red/burgundy when you look at it from one angle and almost purple if you turn or shift the glass. The pictures do not do it justice!

I think it means it got to a railway switch point.

That's exactly what it means. Depending on its final destination, it may arrive at a few junction points. And one of those will be the last one before the final transport/ convoy and delivery.

If you're seeing changes and progress, that's a good thing! Some of us have been stuck for a long time. No updates or changes on mine for a month.

Congrats on getting your car! We ordered the Molten Magenta as well... There's not a ton of them compared to the other colors, which makes it hard to search for alternates coming in. One local dealer had a molten magenta with our identical configuration come in a week ago. We could be driving it right now as I initially had a deposit on it as a contingency plan. But our car supposedly shipped (it did not) and I foolishly withdrew my deposit. Dealership sold that car the morning after they received. So now I'm stuck waiting for our car that was built 2 months ago, but not moving... But I keep checking for other options. My wife is set on this color and won't accept any other. I personally don't normally like red cars, but I saw the molten magenta on an ICE Mustang and I'm definitely a fan.

It's a great color! I was just tired of waiting. Mine came in to the dealership Monday night and it came home with me Thursday. I think the only reason they didn't sell it before me was their website still had it listed as in transit. ? yours comes in soon!

Finally got sort of an update on mine? Tracker bar on top still shows “in production” since 4/3 but the extended details now shows “received” as of this afternoon. Whatever that means. ??‍

Another week down and another week added onto my ETA. Ready to give up on the eruption green bronze package, just found my close second choice that was delivered to a dealership today. Unfortunately they’re 4+ hours away in another state. Time to see if we can get a dealer to dealer transfer and save me the trip and sales tax.

Also, why are you concerned about sales tax? As far as I know, though, maybe it varies depending on the state, you pay the sales tax on the car based on where it's registered at time of purchase, not where it's purchased.

In California you pay the sales taxed based off the tax rate at your registration address.

Massachusetts is the same way. I learned this years ago when shopping for a car at a delearship in Rhode Island. I was worried about paying RI tax (which was/is higher than MA) and the dealer said that because I live in MA, I'd be paying MA tax instead.

Someone here made a Chrome extension to pull the extra details that are usually hidden in the page source code. You should be able to search for it in the Chrome web store.
