How did you figure out when your car went into production, or any other date? My dealership doesn't have any information to share with me.

The window sticker contained the order number and VIN number, so I put that into the standard Ford Order Tracker site.

If you look on the sticker, you can find the order number for the order tracking site. It's in the lower left area in a box labeled "ITEM #". Here's mine: 11-1145 O/T 2. The order number here is the 1145.

Good luck. I guess I was slightly lucky in that when I put my dealer order it, there was already a window sticker for it and I didn't leave without a copy.

Of course, since then, I changed my deposit to a different dealer order that looks like it's going to arrive sooner (as of yesterday, it was in the "Shipped" status and was "Received at Junction Point").

Do you mean the list on page 1 of this forum? Am I allowed to be on that list? I thought that list was reserved for factory orders and my car is a dealer order. I don't know any dates related to my order ?

Anyone can be on the list! That said, it's a long thread so I'm sure I've missed updates. Easiest way is to screenshot the order tracking screen with all the dates and dm that to me if I missed it.

My custom order, VIN 125xx is still in limbo somewhere in Texas. An identically configured Premium, VIN 164xx, just landed at local dealership. It's missing the interior protection package, and has the mobile charge cord we didn't order, but otherwise the same. Trying to negotiate with them on it but not looking promising, they're only offering a $2800 discount and then adding almost $900 in fees, so it's probably not going to happen.

Whoa... Our car is SHIPPED! Just after making my last post and as I sit here waiting for the other dealer to get back to me on that other MME Premium, I see that our car we ordered is now shipped. ETA dates adjusted to show June 5 thru 11.

My custom order, VIN 125xx is still in limbo somewhere in Texas. An identically configured Premium, VIN 164xx, just landed at local dealership. It's missing the interior protection package, and has the mobile charge cord we didn't order, but otherwise the same. Trying to negotiate with them on it but not looking promising, they're only offering a $2800 discount and then adding almost $900 in fees, so it's probably not going to happen.

Interior Protection Package with the rubber mats was $495, right? Guess what? You can buy the same thing for $345 shipped from Ford Accessories!

Oh, I know. And this other car has the mobile charge cord (and presumably the NACS adapter) which we didn't order with our config, have the A2Z adapter waiting and spare Tesla and Ford mobile chargers already. I was seeing if they would budge on their pricing a bit and throw in the floor mats. By taking this other car I'd be leaving a good bit of money on the table with the deposit at the other dealership and higher price and such.

But now it's moot since the one we ordered has shipped, I'll just wait a couple more weeks and we'll have it. It's just been difficult trying to juggle cars around here as we sold our Tesla Y so the wife has been without her daily driver for the past 8 weeks. We sold the Y when we thought the Mach-E had already shipped back in March. That and I had an opportunity to get a good price for it, so I took it.

It's just been difficult trying to juggle cars around here as we sold our Tesla Y so the wife has been without her daily driver for the past 8 weeks.

I hear this. I was young and naive last summer haha. Last car I bought was a 2013 Fiesta brand new in November 2012, so I thought the 25 would be available around the same time. So I sold my car to my brother in law thinking "I can go a few months sharing a car with the wife..."

If I had known it would be June/July/August the next year before I get my car I would have made different choices haha. Luckily we both work from home, but it is still extremely difficult to manage all the other stuff every day.

Feel your pain. Exact same thing here. Our Vin 031xx was ordered in November and is still stuck at "in production" but says shipped in the developer settings (ETA still shows March 2025). Looking like we're going to buy the identical car that just delivered to our backup dealer. What a mess. Glad it's hopefully almost over.

Add me to the long list of cancel order, find dealer stock. Picking it up next week. Interestingly, this one was produced on 4/23, shipped 4/24, delivered 5/12. Also, StevenC56 was asking about VINs with the last 5 digits starting with 2. Mine does. I may have missed that conversation, what's the significance? Just the whole first in last out thing, or something else? Anyway, I'm totally stoked. The sales rep helped me connect to FordPass app remotely so I can start configuring now. On pricing, I see that Ford has already upped the base and options for new production, but mine is still the original price (with the employee discount). My sales rep, however, told me they just got word from Ford that soon (did not define) they will be reinvoicing cars on the lot and putting new stickers on them. Will post pic when I get it

I was just trying to find out if any other units build around the same time as ours had been delivered. As far as reinvoicing cars on the lot that were built before May 2nd, I don't think your dealer can change the window stickers with the new pricing unless Ford has changed their position. Sounds like they are probably just adding additional dealer markup.

If you want to use a computer browser, do the below: You do need the serial number and the order number. If you can't understand my directions go to page 13 where the original version is.
The actual API call, that loads order information, has more details than what is displayed on the page, for example the "currentBuildDate".
There might be more information for the builds that are done and at the next stage too..
To view this, go to the main tracking page, https://www.ford.com/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking . On a desktop computer, enter the order number and VIN. Then complete the "I'm not a robot". Next hit F12.. Then ensure ' Preserve log ' is checked, then ensure the Network tab is selected.. Then go to left side of browser and "X" the cookie setting. Then click the " Accept & Track button. When the page loads, there will be an entry that is near the top(scrollUp) section, "{i} tracking-data?isCanada=false" , click on that and go to the Response tab(on the far right, 3rd group down. _, then you'll see at the very BOTTOM of the red texts: "orderInfo" . This tells about where the vehicle is.
