PaaK saved my butt just now.

When I set up PaaK, I was wondering why on Earth I'd ever use it. I'm always going to have my FOB with me. I almost didn't even bother.

Drove my kid to a baseball tournament 1.5 hours away this morning. Went to go back in the car for something, reached in my pocket for my FOB, and was shocked to realize I grabbed the FOB for my wife's car. Gah!

Thankfully it turns out PaaK works as advertised. Unlocked the car and started it right up. Today could have gone VERY differently.

I kept a fob in a faraday bag in the car for a long time as I didn’t trust PAAK. It was well hidden and with a battery hidden elsewhere. Yeah, I stopped doing that several years ago. It’s no longer an issue with me and probably wasn’t one ever for the car.

Two years PaaK only. Had to use the backup passcode once when my phone died. I only use the FOB when I get my seasonal tires swapped.

My house key is on the FOB as well so I tend to have mine with me. Carwas? I use mine here as At the better car washes here (Russel speeders “hand” wash ) and a more deluxe standard auto wash the attendant has to drive the car onto thee belts and/or track. So
I use walk away locking . Keeping the FOB in the car prevents that.
The other scenario when you might want the FOB, you lost your phone somewhere.

That is such a factual, but super soft statement to make. He absolutely got there using the PaaK and had he not activated the PaaK, he would have discovered that he has the wrong fob right in his garage. The PaaK didn’t save his ass from getting stranded. It saved him walking a short distance from his garage to wherever he stores his fob at home.

Job 1 2021 in the beginning it was iffy kept a fob in the car in a faraday bag. Had to use it maybe 2-3 times the first year. Never really used it since. I still keep it in the car if I take it for service or if I have to give a fob to attendant to park the car.

It happened to me two times that I went to work without my keys. The car worked through my phone just fine but I couldnt open my business door without my keys ?. Car fob and all my keys are bundled.

Because, they take the car to a hidden area, and wipe all surfaces with the greasy shop towels from the tire store next door before giving it back to me. ???
